Here is a little treat for all those lovely people who still are loving this book<3

Karan looked over at his wife (the phrase was still unfamiliar to him but he was trying his best to get familiar with it) and smiled seeing her sleeping soundly.

'Kaun kahega ki yeh wohi rani saaheba hai jo kabhi mujhse ladti rehti thi aur ab dekho aise pakad ke so rahi hai jaise ki neend mei chod ke bhaag jaunga mai!' he chuckled at his own thought before engrossing himself in the beauty of his wife. She looked really pretty in the artificial lights of their honeymoon suite which was not so generously gifted by senior Dr. Mahajan.

Karan couldn't help but smile wider as he remembered the moment when Dr. Mahajan, his typically reserved father-in-law, had handed them the honeymoon package. It had been so unexpected. He recalled the doctor's stiff posture and the carefully controlled expression, almost as if handing over the envelope was a medical procedure in itself. Karan had tried to keep his own face neutral, but the corners of his mouth twitched, wanting to burst into laughter all thanks to his wife who claimed that she made him human again.

'Dr. Mahajan may be a man of few words, but I guess even he can't escape the traditions. That's good though.' Karan thought with amusement.

He looked at his wife again, amazed by how peaceful she looked. Just a few months ago, their relationship had been different. She was the "rani saaheba"—confident, assertive, and always ready to argue with him. He had fallen for her fire, for the way she challenged him. But now, seeing her asleep, holding onto him like she feared losing him even in her dreams, touched something deep inside him.

Karan gently brushed a strand of hair away from her face, careful not to wake her. "Itni chhoti si duniya ban gayi hai humari, and I couldn't be happier." he softly mused to himself, his heart full of affection. He leaned in closer, placing a soft kiss on her forehead.

It was still strange to think of her as his wife, but with every passing moment, the word was starting to feel more right—like something he'd been waiting for without even realizing it.

A few hours later she woke up to find him talking, on a phone call which she could easily guess. She quickly got out of bed without making much noise and walked to him, whose back was facing her's in the moment.

Knowing well that a hug would startle him she did exactly that but to her surprise he didn't even jerk back in surprise.

"I will talk to you later dad." He said before cutting off the call and turning around to see her.

"Dad?"

"Haa Monami Dad!"

"No you must be joking, right?"

"Kya tumhe meri shakal se aisa lag raha hai ki mai koi joke suna raha hu?" He enquired.

She raised an eyebrow, studying his face closely. His expression was serious, but she could see the familiar glint of mischief in his eyes.

"Dad finally is getting familiar with you." She smiled before an idea struck her.

"Karan, tum bilkul impossible ho," she muttered, crossing her arms. "Shaadi ke honeymoon par ho aur ab bhi Dad se phone par baatein kar rahe ho." she teased him instead.

Karan smirked, stepping closer to her. "Kya karoon, Monami? Tumhari family ke saath free mein aa rahi hai yeh *sasur ji duty*," he teased. "Woh bhi ek honeymoon ke bonus ke saath." He chuckled towards the end.

She tried to suppress a smile but failed, shaking her head at him. "Toh ab tumhe yeh funny lag raha hai?" She questioned making him huff a laugh.

He shrugged, pulling her into his arms. "Well, thoda toh funny hai. I mean, Papa itne protective hain ki honeymoon ke beech mein bhi check karna zaroori samjhte hain." He pointed out.

She sighed, resting her head against his chest. "I love that they all care so much, but seriously, ek baar toh akele time milne do humein."

Karan chuckled softly, tilting her chin up to meet his gaze. "I know. Don't worry, Monami, ab humari baari hai. Dad se permission maang ke honeymoon nahi mana raha hoon, okay?"

She laughed at that, her earlier frustration melting away. "Good, kyunki mai bhi apne pati ke saath thoda uninterrupted time spend karna chahti hoon," she teased.

Karan grinned, leaning in and kissing her forehead. "Deal. Ab koi distractions nahi. Just you and me."

They both stood there for a moment, soaking in the quiet intimacy, their playful banter having brought them even closer.

"And romance?" She asked looking at him whose face instantly flushed and she knew that he was still the same shy Karan Shergill.

"Jaldi thodi hai! But abhi sight seeing ke liye chale, hmm?" He asked.

" Tum duniya ke ek laute husband hoge Jo wife se zyada sight seeing mei interested hai." She hugged pouting a bit.

"Toh mujhe kis cheez mei interested hona chahiye?" He played along as if he didn't know what she was saying.

"Uhhh.. you know what I mean Karan." She muttered hugging him, hiding in his chest.

Karan couldn't help but smile at her bashfulness. Even though she tried to act bold, he could feel her cheeks warm against his chest. Gently stroking her hair, he chuckled softly.

"Achha? Tumhe lagta hai mujhe samajh nahi aata?" he teased, his voice low as he looked down at her, his arms wrapping tighter around her.

She groaned, pulling back slightly to glare up at him. "Karan, you're impossible!" she huffed, though a smile tugged at her lips.

He grinned, clearly enjoying her frustration. "Tumhe kya laga? Bas honeymoon ka naam sunte hi romance ka button on ho jata hai?" His teasing tone made her swat at him lightly, but he caught her hand and brought it to his lips, kissing her knuckles softly.

"Meri pyaari rani saaheba." he said gently, his voice suddenly turning serious, "Tumhari har khushi meri khushi hai. Sightseeing ho ya romance, sab kuch tumhare saath hi toh perfect hai." He confessed softly.

Her heart softened at his words, and she found herself unable to stay annoyed. "Tum kaise kar lete ho? Gussa dilane ke baad bhi itna sweet kaise ban jaate ho?"

He shrugged, pulling her closer once again. "It's a talent. Tumhe tease karke tumhari hansi sunna mujhe sabse zyada pasand hai." He confessed yet another secret to his wife.

She looked up at him, shaking her head with a playful sigh. "You really are impossible," she whispered again, though her tone was full of affection.

Karan leaned down, brushing his lips against her forehead. "Mujhe pata hai," he murmured, his smile softening. "Ab chale? Sightseeing ke baad waapas aa kar, tumhari*romance* ki request bhi fulfill karni hai plus I have a surprise date planned too."

She blushed, her heart fluttering at his words, but she nodded, letting him lead her out for a day of adventure—knowing full well that they'd return to each other with the same teasing, playful love that had always defined their relationship.
