35. Hide & Seek

"Agar aap dono ne last time ki tarah kiya toh is baar double punishment milegi! " Saumya warned both Monami and Karan.

"Baby hamne kya kiya? " Karan asked innocently sitting on his knees to be on her level.

"Zada innocent mat bano aap dono. Last time teacher teacher game ke time pe romance karne bhaag gaye the aap dono. Is baar mai aap dono ko aisa bilkul nahi karne dungi! " She said to which both Karan and Monami looked shocked at her. (Read -Tum hi ho to understand this one)

"Haww baby! Yeh sab romance wagera ki baatein sikhata kaun hai aapko? " Monami asked kneeling down well.

"Tv aur kaun? " She told them frankly.

"Toh aaj se aapka tv dekhna band! " Karan said with a blank expression.

"Ok! Mai phone mei dekh lungi! " She told her alternative solution.

"Phone bhi nahi milega!" Monami added.

"Aap dono mujhe dhamki de rahe ho? Abhi mumma ko batati hu ki aap dono ne last time game khelte waqt kya kiya tha! " Saying that she ran towards the Kitchen where Barkha and Gauri were preparing something.

"Mumma aapko pata hai... Umm.." Before Saumya could spill their secret Karan covered her mouth with his hand.

"Baby no! Hamari deal hui thi! "

"Karan yeh kya kar rahe ho? "

"Nahi bhabhi kuchh nahi! Ham toh bas game khel rahe hai! " Karan answered to which Barkha looked at him suspiciously.

Some how saumya removed his hand which was covering her mouth and glared cutely at him.

"Aap dono mere saath hide & seek khelo nahi toh.. " Saumya signalled them towards Barkha. They both shared a look before sighing.

"Fine chalo! " Monami said with a small smile and Saumya ran towards the living area.

"Bohot bura fas gaye Karan! " Monami whispered to Karan as they both followed saumya.

"I am sorry Monami! Mujhe nahi pata tha ki baby hame blackmail karne lag jaayegi! " Karan said in helplessness.

"Game ke rules yeh hai ki mai seeker nahi banungi balki Karan chachu aap banoge! " Saumya said while standing on the sofa to match their height.

"Aur aapke baad Monami didi! " She further told.

"Accha toh aapko last mei seeker banna hai, baby? "  Monami concluded.

"Mai seeker nahi banungi! " Saumya told them making them utterly confused.

"Par kyu? " He asked.

"Iska answer aap dono Romeo Juliet acche se jaante ho! " Saumya said to which Both Karan and Monami slightly blushed.

"Baby aap hame tease kar rahe ho? " Monami asked.

"Bohot zada badmaash hogaye ho aap! " Karan remarked as well.

"Ab game start kare? " Saumya asked to which both Monami and Karan nodded.

She then pushed Karan to stand facing the wall and count till 100 while both the girls hide themselves.

He indeed counted till 100 before turning around.

'Yeh baby bhi un namuno jaisi hoti ja rahi hai. Waha academy mei namune jeene nahi dete aur yaha ghar mei baby! Banda jaaye to jaaye kahaa!' Karan brooded over the fact before finally searching out for his girls.

He easily caught saumya hiding in barkha's room and now only Monami was left to be found.

"Mai bhi aapke saath chalungi taaki aap.... " Her talk was interrupted in between by him.

"Haa haa samajh gaya baby! Aap bhi chalo! " He said before following her.

They checked the whole place but couldn't find Monami. Now Karan was getting tensed for her.

"Chachu hamne balcony check nahi ki, aapke room ki! " She informed him as soon as it clicked in her mind.

"Haa, let's go! "He said and both of them quickly ran to check the balcony only to get surprised.

" BHOO! " Monami yelled while suddenly appearing in front of them, making both Karan and Saumya jerk back in surprise.

"Rani Saaheba, aapne toh dara hi diya hame! " He said a second after the shock which was given to him.

"Of course! Yahi toh plan tha! " She said proudly at herself while Saumya giggled.

"Chachu aap toh darpok nikle! " Saumya teased Karan.

"Matlab yeh plan aap dono ka tha?" Karan asked as the girls mirrored the same look of mischief in their eyes.

"Obviously Karan! Tum bhi na duffer ho bilkul! " Monami said to which he glared at her.

"Chalo Chachu aapki turn fir se aayegi because aap haar gaye! " Saumya announced

"Mai haara nahi hu.. " He retorted back.

"No justification is required Special Agent Karan Shergill! Aap haar gaye hai toh chup chaap jaake 100 tak count kijiye! " Karan groaned hearing his Rani Saaheba but had no other option other than to oblige, hence walked back. The girls hified before hiding in a new place this time.

The game went on for a few chances until Karan gave up as every time he had to become the seeker because of the tricks baby and Monami pulled on him.

"Cheating, Cheating aur sirf cheating kari tum dono ne pure game mei! " He accused both the girls as they sat opposite to him on the sofa.

"Haar tum rahe the toh ismein hamari kya galti? " Monami asked back casually.

"Tum dono ka plan hi mujhe seeker banane ka tha woh bhi pure time! " He accused them and Saumya knew that, a world war of words was now gonna happen, hence, she quitely sneaked out of the room.

"Karan don't crib like a kid now! " She said to which he raised his one eyebrow. And in the next second, he was right beside her.

"Toh mai kids ki tarah crib karta hu? " He asked going too close to her.

She immediately got alarmed at his act.

"Karan ham living room mei hai, Anybody can walk in on us! " She told him softly.

"Yeh toh aapko mujhe tease karne se pehle sochna chahiye tha Rani Saaheba! " He smirked before leaning in.

She pushed him but he leaned again. She then closed her eyes tightly in fear.

"Hahahah.. Look at your face.. Haha.." She heard him laughing and immediately opened her eyes to see him laughing at her.

"Tum mazaak kar rahe the? " She asked to which he laughed more.

"I hate you! " She huffed out before hitting him on the chest.

"Agar aap chaahti hai ki mai sach mei aapko kiss kar lu toh theek hai! " He teased holding her hands in order to stop her.

She glared at him for pulling a stunt like that on her but the moment he kissed her cheek, all her anger melted like a chocolate on room temperature melts.
