As Percy woke up, she saw a man in the room, he noticed her and turned around to greet her. But she flinched and he decided to just smile softly and began to talk equality soft.

"Hello, I'm Bruce, your uncle. And your mommy asked me to take care of you. Would you like to come with me?" Percy looked at him with slight suspicion in her eyes.

"Will mommy wake up?" the girl asked shyly, and the man looked sad. "Little one, she won't wake up. Your step-dad did something really bad."

Her eyes lost all hope as she spoke next. "I-if I come with you, can you promise me, not to hurt me? You are not like Gabe, right?"

He didn't really know her but it already broke his heart to hear what she feared. "I can promise you, not I and neither is my Butler like Gabe. We won't hurt you; the opposite is the case, we want to protect you." She still looked weary at him but a bit more relaxed.

That's when the officer came in and spoke. "So, Mr. Wayne. You just have to read these documents and sign them, and then you can take her home. We will call you, when you can pick up her stuff. For now, we managed to take at least some of her clothes."

Bruce nodded and began to read through the documents. As everything was finished, he knelt down and offered a hand to her. The raven-haired girl took it hesitantly and they walked to the front to get into the car.

Bruce looked down at the girl that clung to his leg smiling. "Percy, I would like you to meet Alfred, my friend and the Butler. Alfred, this is Percy, Sally's daughter."

The Butler wasn't shocked to hear Sally had a daughter, though he never met her, Sally told him about her. But he wondered where Sally was. "H-hello sir, nice to meet you." Percy said shyly and Alfred smiled warmly at her. "Hello Mistress Percy, please just call me Alfred."

"Okay, would you mind telling me, how long it takes, until we arrive?"

Naturally Sally had taught her to be polite, just like he taught Sally. "Of course, it should only take a few minutes until we reach Wayne manor."

Like he said, they stopped in front of the house and the two men led her inside, and to a simple room with a dresser, a twin bed, a shelf and a Window.

"I know it isn't much, but for now it should be fine, until we managed to buy you furniture." Bruce said to the girl.

Shortly after he helped her to change, Alfred came in with a children's book from the storage. "Master Bruce, I have found a good night story for children, if you would like to read it to Percy." The Butler informed the man.

"Thanks Alfred. Percy, would you like to hear the story about the rainbow fish?" Bruce asked his niece.

"Yes! This is my favourite story! And my favourite films are Nemo and Dori! My favourite animals are all Water animals!" she told the two men exited.

Happy that she could be happy after what happened they smiled warmly. "That's really cool. So, what do you think about this:
we read the rainbow fish, then you go to sleep, and tomorrow we go and buy you furniture for your real room?" Bruce told her. "Okay!" So, he began to read for the little girl, and she began to feel sleepy.

The next morning, she woke up and was scarred until she remembered what happened the night before. She was about to get lost in the labyrinth of hallways, as she met Bruce.

"Hey, Percy, did you sleep good? Do you want me to show you the kitchen?"

"Yes, this would be great, and I slept really good." She told him, as they were on their way to the kitchen. "Very well, what do you think about this: we eat breakfast, and then we drive into the town to buy you stuff for your real room?"

"Yes! But- uhm, could I get blue pancakes for breakfast?" He smiled at her. "I think I can convince Alfred to make the pancakes blue. But if you don't mind me asking, why do you want them blue?"

She looked a bit hestianlty. "Mommy made my food blue, because Gabe said there was no blue food. So, she made everything she cooked blue if possible." Percy told Bruce with a sad smile.

As she ended, they arrived at the kitchen. The ravenette sat down while Bruce talked to Alfred.

After the breakfast with a smiling little girl, Bruce helped her to change, while Alfred prepared the car.

Soon after they reached a furniture shop and the two men led Percy to every place, she needs to choose something.

In the end they spend the whole day look through different shops, to make Percy's room as cosy as possible for her.
