Three days passed since the fight against Red Volcano. Percy woke up and made herself ready for school like usual. She thanked Alfred and walked inside together with Dick.

They split up, and Percy walked to her first class this day. As sixth class she had literature. After five minutes of getting taunted by her classmates, her teacher Miss Lode came in.

"Good day class. Sit down fast. Today every one of you will write a poem to a star-constellation you feel like you have a strong connection to. I want to read some of them out loud at the end of the class. The kind of poem doesn't matter. Begin you have seventy-five minutes." She told them.

Miss Lode is a stern teacher. The ravenette didn't even had to think about which constellation she writes about. She already knew she would choose the Huntress the moment the word constellation was heard. Percy took out a pen and began to think about what to write.

Five minutes before time end, she finished and read over what she wrote for the first time since she began. She didn't know what she wrote, her hands did it alone without her noticing.

Huntress,
On your own and strong
To no one belonged
A good friend till the bitter end
the dam snack bar, you didn't get it
not one bit.
Your sacrifice
It magnified
Our lives
for a terrible price
have fun to hunt at the front
Bob says hello

She didn't realise the teacher calling her until Miss Lode nearly screamed her name. "Yes Miss?" The woman sighed. "Miss Wayne, would you please handle your poem to me. I would like to read it out lout to your classmates. Since you didn't listen to me. I assume you were emotional very deep connected to the constellation you choose."

Percy gulped but handed her teacher the paper with her poem. "I choose the huntress Miss." Lode nodded and walked back to the front before reading out loud. At the end, Percy had a hard time to hold back her tears. "Miss Wayne, if you don't mind, why is your poem sad, and how does it connect to the constellation for you?" The teacher asked. "I don't want to share it. It is too personal."

Miss Lode looked annoyed. "Miss Wayne, if you would have listened instead of just paying attention to your poem, you would know that everyone shared their memories. So, would you please share too?" Percy shook her head. "No miss Lode, I won't share my memories with others who wouldn't even understand. No matter what you do, I won't tell a thing." The older woman sighed. "Very well miss Wayne, you don't let me a choice. Either you answer what the poem has to do with you and the constellation, or you get detention."

Percy didn't even have to think what to do. "Give me detention if you think this would get me to share personal information's with people who doesn't even care about me and just give me a F for this class. I don't care."

Now Lode got really mad. "If you insist. Detention for the next two weeks! Hopefully, you will learn your lesson in this time, or I have to use more drastic measures. Now leave the room until your next class!" Percy didn't even have to say a thing and left.

As she closed the door and made her way to the bathroom, she broke down. Not only blamed she still herself for her friend's death, but she also had to think about how she will explain everything to Bruce and how to keep her reputation as the perfect, shy, and calm girl. She was so deep in thought she didn't even notice the person that stepped in a few seconds ago.

Barbara wasn't happy. She now had to go to the bathroom because Dick caused her to laugh and knocking a chemical over that got in contact with her hands and arms. They now were rainbow-colored all over. As she opened the bathroom, she heard sobbing. Barbara slowly closed the door behind her and stepped closer to see who was crying.

She was shocked as she saw Percy. "Percy? What happened?" Barbara asked. The crying girl jumped up and turned around. Her sea-green eyes puffy and red from crying. "H-hey Barbara. What are you doing out of class?"

The redhead crossed her arms. "Your idiot of a brother happened, he caused me to knock over a chemical and now I have rainbow arms. But what happened to you?"

"You know the usual. Miss Lode wanted us to write a poem and read all of them out loud. But I didn't want to share why I wrote what I did. And I couldn't even come up with a good excuse. Now I got detention and was sent out of class."

Barbara rose an eyebrow. "Okay, I know how important your reputation for the press is, but why do you cry about something like this?" Percy didn't say anything but handed Babs the paper with her poem. "We had to write a poem about a constellation we have a special connection to." After Barbara finished, she was a bit confused. "Don't to be rude, but what does most of what you wrote have to do with the constellation?"

Percy looked around for eventual eavesdropper. No one there. "As I was eleven, I made a vacation with some friends from my summer camp in the week before Christmas. But a few moments before the constellation huntress was visible, a friend of mine died in an accident. She died because she saved me. Bob was her grandfather who I met some time ago and his last words before he died were 'tell the stars hello for me.' I just couldn't keep my emotions bottled up any longer. But Babs, please don't tell Dick or Dad about what I just told you about my friend. They don't know."

The redhead was confused why she didn't want her family to know but agreed. "Fine, but I will call Alfred and he will pick you up. Detention will have to wait until tomorrow and your last class isn't as important as your wellbeing." Percy sighed but agreed.

Ten minutes later, Alfred parked in front of the door of her school and went to talk to the secretary to get Percy out. As she got into the car, she was silent. The same all the way to the manor, where she just walked to her room and summoned her jewels from Kaldur. The two talked all day until Alfred called Percy for dinner.

Bruce and Dick turned their heads towards Percy as she entered the room. "Hey dad, hey Dick." Dick tilted his head in concern. "Percy, what happened today? Babs didn't come back in science and as I saw her again in my last period, she told me, you cried in the bathroom, and she called Alfred to pick you up. Are you hurt?" The girl shook her head. "No Dick I am not hurt." She told her brother and father about what happened in literature and about the detention.

Bruce walked over to her and hugged her tight at the end. "Hey my little mermaid. It is okay, don't worry. The most important is that you are okay. If you want, I can talk to this woman for you. But for now, I would propose, you go to bed and dream of the ocean and fish." Her face lit up a bit as she hugged her father. She bid everyone goodnight and went to bed.

I will Update a bit more today and the next two days as a Christmas gift.
