Generalizations are not just fun and witty but necessary. In fact, all we have are generalizations. Without them, we have nothing. The moment you try to break one down you are left grasping sand as it slips between your fingers. Take each phrase and deny it, deny them all one by one. Even within yourself, at the core of who you are, make any statement and it will never hold, it will always break down. A statement reflects a world of its own, not ours, not truly, if there is such a thing as truth. Honestly, if there is such a thing as honesty, contradictions reflect us more accurately than truth ever could.
