Shuyang watched carefully as his father strode into the room, head to toe clad in black. His face was permanently settled with a slight frown and the ever present disappointment etched deeply into his cheeks and forehead.

"Hello REN HQ. I hear we have some unexpected guests joining us this morning." He spoke forcefully, each word pronounced from his chest.

His attention turned towards Chris and ZeYu, the proclaimed prodigal sons of the business.

Mr. Ren gave the two a once over, still feeling a bit of pride. They had been what he prided himself on. Good, sturdy employees with determination. Only fate pushed them down different paths.

Mr. Ren couldn't hold it against them though, himself even indulging in the pleasure of being a married man and raising a family in the field. Though events had taken a toll on his perfect family image.

A daughter who sliced herself silly and a queer son. He growled in disapproval as he stood there.

He'd never let Shuyang know of his thoughts, knowing it would damage him, and he couldn't have a broken person taking over the business now could he?

"To our returning friends, welcome." He grinned cynically, an evilness behind his teeth.

"Boss!" Chan called out, still holding onto his #1 status and speaking whenever he pleased.

"Yes BangChan?" Ren asked, sickeningly sweet tone on his tongue.

"I have my jade sir, please let my present it to you." He called out again.

"Oh, you found it?" Ren grit his teeth. He prayed that Chris wouldn't find it and just come back to REN HQ. Truth be told, Mr.Ren was losing good employees, and he needed his bests back.

"Come up here then." He sighed, motioning for the younger.

BangChan smiled in a small manner, hoping nobody saw it. He gripped the necklace tightly in his hand.

Han huffed, anger building in his chest. He couldn't let BangChan leave with Xinlong. He would fight him, he would kill him if he had to.

Quickly, as the older walked by, Han grasped the Jade, pulling as hard as he could and breaking the chain into multiple pieces.

The room stood still, too shocked to react in any specific way.

No one had ever done that before. Usually when someone had a Jade you respected them, and it. But Han had just broken that very important rule.

"Han..." Chan said breathlessly, looking down at his dismembered necklace. His breath became heavy, and disturbed. He didn't know what to do.

His chance to protect Xinlong was gone.

"Han." He said darkly, eyes but meeting the younger's.

He stepped towards Chan, head held low to match his.

"You can't leave with him." Han whispered into Chris's ear hoping the words might add to the defeat.

"You," Chan started, hands moving on their own.
"You motherfucker! Why the fuck would you do that?!" He screamed, veined hands gripping onto the smaller's throat, a guttural hack clambering out of Han's mouth.

The younger tried to pry Chri's hands from his throat, but to no avail. Chan was still stronger than him.

"BangChan! Let him go!" Mr. Ren shouted, the whole room snapping attention back to the boss. Chan held on one second longer before whipping the male to the ground, gasps of air filling the room.
