Hanyu was more than confused about Tills note to him. Avoid her brother and ZeYu? He hardly knew either so he wouldn't have a very hard time, but he had never heard of the others.

"I just don't even understand." He whispered quietly to himself at the designated lunch table for people with no friends.

Hanyu had a few friends but they were all older than he was so he was hardly ever chumming with them at lunch.

"Hey, scoot over." Hanyu's daydreams we're interrupted by a tall lanky kid with long, dark hair. Zihao.

Hanyu did so but with a look of annoyance. After hearing what Tills had written about the other boy, Hanyu felt as though there was a high tension and sense of competition between the two. Which was a very correct feeling since Zihao himself felt that way.

It was clear to the both of them that Xinlong had been number 1 with Tills, so their fight for number 2 began after the diary reading.

"What do you want head ass?" Hanyu grumbled.

His attitude was definitely different from the last time they had met during the small town adventure. But school was a different story.

"If you're gonna act so fucking annoyed then I'm not gonna tell you." Zihao scoffed, glaring at the older.

It's not that Hanyu wanted Zihao's company or input, but this whole thing was so confusing with the letter and Tills and everything, he just needed something to relate to.

"Ugh, fine what is it?"

Zihao wiped his hands off on his jacket and pulled out a small USB with a charred end.

"What's that?" Hanyu questioned, hands reaching out for it. Zihao snatched it away before Hanyu could grab it, an annoyed grimace on his face.

"I need you to watch this with me after school. But we can't do it on a school computer so come to my house." Zihao whispered.

"Zihao I'm not watching that with you, pervert." He said, crinkling his nose.

"Oh fuck off Hanyu it's not porn!" Zihao pinched the bridge of his nose as he stuffed the little device back into his pocket.

Hanyu sighed heavily, relieved its wasn't what he had thought.

"Fine, I'll watch it with you, but you better feed me afterwards!"

After the last bell signaled the end of the day, Hanyu bolted out of his classroom and collected what he needed from his locker.

He had never been to Zihao's house and was a little siked out about going, not sure what was on the drive.

Upon arriving at the younger's house, Hanyu's jaw dropped. Not due to the house's size or how how nice it was, but due to the pure shock that someone like Zihao lived in a house and not a swamp. Hanyu wasn't the biggest fan of him if you couldn't tell.

It was a nice house though. He will admit that.

He knocked on the door and before long a small woman with a lean figure opened the door, apron covered in flour and splashes of tomato sauce.

"Hello?" She says softly, eyes big and bright.

"Hi, I'm Hanyu. Zihao asked me over." Hanyu explained. Could this be that rats mother? She was so cute and small. How could it be? Hanyu was thoroughly surprised.

"Oh! Hi Hanyu! I'm Zihao's mom, please come in." She smiled brightly and led him into the very pleasant home. It was clean and had large windows to let in a lot of natural light.

Hanyu liked it here.

"Hey, come up stairs!" Zihao appeared from the top of the staircase, clad in nothing but a pair of basketball shorts and a track and field hoodie. Did he really do all those sports? Hanyu couldn't remember a single thing about the boy's extracurricular life.

He gave a slight bow to Mrs. Li before climbing the carpeted steps.

"Just set your stuff on the floor." Zihao instructed as he plopped down on his bed with his laptop already open and on.

Hanyu threw his possessions on the ground and joined the boy on the bed, a questioning thought still lingering over his head. What the hell are we even watching?

Zihao grappled at the USB drive and ported it before clicking a few things and turning the volume to full.

Hanyu was still curious, but as soon as Tills pretty face popped up on the screen, he was at ease.

The video was no longer than 10 minutes, yet it shocked him like nothing ever had.

Black market operations and arranged marriages? He had just read about the auction that very weekend.

Hanyu could barely say an audible word. He was dumbfounded at what had just been said.

But, his letter made sense now.

"She told me to avoid them." Hanyu worded, still a numb look on his face.

"Who? Who all do you need to avoid?" Zihao lowered his voice to a whisper.

Hanyu slowly pulled the letter out of his back pants pocket. He had taken it with him just in case he found something to understand it with.

"She said to avoid,

Ren Shuyang

Han Jisung

Lee Felix

Chris Bang

And Yu ZeYu. "

He listed off the names, a shutter running through his body as they suddenly had more meaning.

"Obviously at first I couldn't figure out why she wanted me to avoid her little brother, but I guess I know why now." He huffed, laying down on the fluffy mattress and closing his eyes, brain in information overload.

"Well, what do we do?" Zihao asked as he flopped next to Hanyu's laying figure.

The two boys sighed heavily after not thinking of anything. Why was everything getting so weird all of the sudden?
