I can't upset his sister

Gon chuckled and smiled at her.

Alluka's eyes widened and somewhat fear could be seen on her face.

Gon smiled again. "What?.."  he said with definitely not as strong a voice he had when he walked in and his demeanor looked a lot less confident.

Alluka's mind was filled with a million thoughts and kurapika looked at the ground, sighing.

Gon broke the silence. He shouldn't have.

"Stop being silly!" Gon said, his confidence back and his aura shinning.

This was it. Alluka was at her breaking point. She very nearly cried.

"Gon.." Kurapika said, his tone soft and stern, sad.

"He will obviously come back!" Gon said. "How could you fall for such a bad prank!" :)

Gon was smiling. Why was he smiling?

"Well come on Alluka! Thanks Kurapika!" Gon said ,leaving, as Alluka trailed after ,dragging her feet. Gon couldn't stay and hear anymore degrading words. It wasn't true. He knew it. Liars. All of them.

He would prove them all wrong...

Alluka sighed and sniffed back her tears that where brimming ,it was a sensitive topic after all.

She had no idea how Gon didn't get it. It was so simple! He was dead.

 "Gon.." she mumbled. She was going to explain it to him. To the very detail.

Gon had his arms crossed and was striding forwards, obviously quite annoyed about the conversation they had had earlier. He stopped when he heard is name and turned around. He looked.. happy? 

"Gon." Alluka repeated "I-"

"No Alluka!" Gon said, raising his voice but not quite shouting, he didn't want to scare her. "If he was dead Nanika could bring him back like you did to me before and- and-"

"No Gon.." Alluka said in a soothing voice ,"You weren't dead yet. There is a big difference.. I can't bring people back to life. I'm *sniff* so so sorry.." 

Gon looked shocked. Really shocked. He walked forwards angrily and Alluka winced.

Then she felt comfort.

I warm feeling accompanied by the soft scent of pine one would obtain  when spending so long in the forest. 

Gon hugged her... even though he still knew she was wrong.. she was confused... and Gon didn't want to watch her hurt anymore!

After all.. Killua would be annoyed if Gon upset his little sister when he got back.. right?
