Summary - Your first real interaction with Negan lets him know that you haven't forgiven him at all. That doesn't hold him from getting closer to you.

"I didn't scape if that's what you're thinking" he stated, nodding and still staring at you as if he wanted to say much more, both of you abstent from your bodies.

With that, you came back into your senses and quickly looked away from him. You noticed you had been gripping your nunchaku too hard, your fingers turning red and aching a bit. Then, you quickly followed Maggie, not saying anything back to Negan.

As you arrived to Alexandria, you forced yourself not to even think about Negan. This place was filled with a bunch of people you loved and a bunch of stuff to repair. You didn't have time to think about that fucker.

At least that's what you hoped.

"Hey, could you get the new seeds? They are stacked next to the carpentry" Jerry said as he wiped his forehead with his wrist. You quickly nodded and left your shovel on the ground.

"Didn't know we had a carpentry" you chuckled as you took off your gloves.

He giggled as he continued digging. "Something like that. Just walk as if you were going to the front gate."

As you made your way there you took a good look around. Damn. The Whisperers had really fucked up everything they could, not even the solar panels made it. But... It was so beautiful. This was home. You could see yourself here years ago, with Rick, Michonne, Glenn, Maggie, Sasha... well, all of them. They were your home as well.

You saw the carpentry from the distance and quickly made your way there, greeting Maggie in the distance as you saw her and Hershel coming in by the front gates. You saw Lydia was working there and you greeted her as well, "Hey! I don't think we've been introduced." You smiled, telling her your name and shaking her hand. She seemed sweet, but the way she looked at you made you feel as if she already knew you. "Do you know where the stack of seeds is?"

"Yeah, it's in the back" she nodded, pointing it to you as she cut some wood. "Do you want help?"

"No, don't worry" you grinned, already walking to the back of the place.

You didn't notice the lingering eyes that had been looking at you even as you were working the grounds with Jerry.

When Negan first saw you, he didn't know what to say. He knew you had come back, but nothing had prepared him for the way you looked at him; with a mix of anger, hatred, a trace of pity and some sadness.

For years sitting in that cell, he had thought about you and those words you said to him when you last saw each other. At first, he was angry, maintaining his pride and trying to convince himself that you weren't especial to him. But then, as time went by, he understood. He understood it all and he really fucking missed you. Just knowing you were just around the corned killed him, even more knowing you would never even walk around the street his cell was in, so he couldn't even see you from his little window. You just vanished, but the feelings he had for you didn't. He was so desperate that he asked too many times for Rick to let him see you.

Negan was oblivious that Rick knew you and him were together. But as Rick told him you were better off without him and that you didn't want to see him, he noticed he knew. So the secret is out, he thought.

But then, jealousy came. He kept imagining you with Rick, with anyone else that wasn't him and it was killing him. That was his lowest point and when Maggie came to kill him, he begged her to do it.
