Summary - You reminisce about your past with Negan, knowing that now that you are back, is only a matter of time until you see him again. You are still taken by surprise when you do.

"It feels good to have you here" Judith smiled up to you and Maggie, still in awe by your ; a little gift Georgie had given you a few years ago when you were out with her and the twins. "Promise you'll teach me to use that thing?"

"Of course" you beamed, making a little show for her by making a basic movement with your wrist that wasn't as hard as it looked like. It worked, making her laugh out loud as you continued walking for Hilltop.

Maggie chuckled as well. "Stop playing with that" She entreated in the usual 'big sister' tone she used with you. She hated when you played with that thing, especially after you nearly killed yourself with it once.

You had grown very close to Maggie after all those years. You helped her with Hershell all the time and were her right-hand woman for nearly everything. Let's say that, when you left Alexandria after Rick died; you needed her just as much as she needed you.

You were a wreck back at that time. Couldn't keep yourself together most of the time and felt a deep pressure just knowing he was just around the corner, picking tomatoes or some shit.

Him.

Well, your relationship with Negan had been very... Rough.

It had started as a little fling, him always asking for you to show him the area or 'present' to him all the scavenging that Alexandria had managed to do for The Sanctuary. Always looking at you as if you were his prey, and you tried really hard not to give in to him. You wouldn't even dare to look at him in the eye.

And actually, you wouldn't have; if it wasn't because of that day. The day Carl decided to go and try to kill Negan, you were at home looking after Judith. When they arrived, Negan had urged you to stay by his side all the damn time. That was the first time you and him even had a conversation, him shutting off Carl and suddenly turning all his attention to you. You lied to yourself, saying that it was all just to protect Carl and Judith; and not because you actually wanted to be all alone with him. Lies, lies, lies.

He had been flirting with you for weeks, trying to get anything out of you. It was when you laughed out loud in response to one of his stupid jokes, that he knew he had you. You smiled to him. You answered to him. You finally looked at him. You started seeing him as a person rather than just the villain.

"Now there's that fucking smile I've been dying to see!" He praised, leaning forward. "We're going to have so much fun." He leered at you, running his tongue between his teeth as he looked down to your lips for a long, long second.

You were scared, but vaguely and slowly started falling in love with him ever since that day. From then on, he'd make up some time for you in each of his visits, going as far as just kissing you, but most of the time just talking to you seemed to be enough.

As that continued to grow, the eagerness in your people to kill the saviors was growing as well. You couldn't help but cringe when everyone started talking about how much they wanted Negan dead, making up plans to do so. That's when you committed the worst of your mistakes: you went straight to The Sanctuary and told the man himself all about it.

When you arrived to his so called office, he was there with one of his so called wives, a sharp sting hurting your chest and forcing you to look away as Simon coughed to get his attention. When he saw you, he even seemed embarrassed that you had seen him like that.
