Late at night, in a dorm room, a disco ball spins on the ceiling. A young Meredith quickly downed four tequila shots as her friends cheered for her. She playfully pole-danced in the middle of the dorm room. She had only two modes; she was either drunk and high off her ass or not in the room. She selected drugs from an assorted tray carried by a cigarette girl and gave one of her partying classmates a lap dance.

When she was exhausted from all the dancing, she went to the bar and leaned against it, watching her partying friends have fun. A vulnerable, hollow expression captured her face. She fought back tears with a smile.

One of her partying classmates, 'Hey beautiful! How about another drink?' he asked.

Meredith blinked, trying to clear her blurry vision, and grinned, 'Yes!' she said with a cheerful expression.

Her bearded classmate grinned, 'Yeah?' he asked.

Meredith nodded, 'Yeah! Sure! Drinks!' she yelled and turned around to face the bartender.

'Hey! Two shots' her 'date' ordered.

Later around 2 in the morning, her classmate supported her against a huge tree on the university lawn. 'Hey' he chuckled and nuzzled his face in Meredith's neck.

Mycroft was walking the grounds of the university when he saw the bearded man making out with a barely conscious Meredith.

The bearded man turned his head to Mycroft and grinned, 'We're all good here' he said.

Mycroft walked away reluctantly. He glanced back at them as he crossed back to his hostel.

'I don't wanna go home' Meredith whined unconsciously.

Her date laughed, 'Oh, no? No' he cooed at her.

Meredith shook her head unconsciously, 'No, stop' she said and fell against his shoulder.

Mycroft heard Meredith's tired exhausted No's. He pinched the bridge of his nose and rubbed his hand over his face in reluctance. He exhaled and shook his head as he turned around and walked to the tree.

Mycroft pulled the bearded man off of Meredith, 'Hey. She said no. Leave her alone' he told him.

Meredith smiled and shook her head, 'I don't need your help. I got this' she stuttered.

Mycroft scoffed at her, 'You're sure about that?' he asked sarcastically.

The bearded man pulled out a switchblade. Mycroft threw a kick to his torso and failed him with a single punch.

Meredith threw her hands up in support, 'Hey! You got this!' she cheered.

Mycroft shook his head as he came and lifted her up, throwing her over his shoulder. In the morning, Meredith woke up in a dorm room that wasn't hers. She cautiously sat up and pulled the blanket that was keeping her warm over her chest. She looked around the room and her eye caught the tall thin man sitting on one of the two beds in the room, reading. 'Hey, you're the umbrella guy' Meredith smiled sleepily.

Mycroft looked up from his book, 'Get out!' he said.

Meredith looked at him in surprise, 'What?' she asked almost inaudibly.

Mycroft doesn't bother to look up from his book, 'I have had enough of you for one lifetime. Now get out of my dorm' he said in a monotone. Meredith sighed and got up off the couch, she had slept on. She picked up her jacket and crossed the room to the door. 'Not through the door you drunk moron' she heard Mycroft's voice coming from behind her. She rolled her eyes and turned around to face him, 'What am I supposed to do? Throw myself out of the window?' she asked sarcastically.
