seen as shallow and empty
i've lost my hollow heart
and it pains me
i weep for i know not what i lost, but i feel it's absence
it's one thing to lose something and to know what to relentlessly search for
it's another to scrape and scratch for the unknown, all the while painfully wanting it back blindly
