To say that things were awkward in the Kujo household would be an understatement.
For starters, when Jolyne saw that he could walk again, she just wouldn't let go of him. As in she literally carried him around the house. Then there was his father...
Jotaro was acting really strange. Johnny knew that Jotaro was happy to see him of course, but once and a while Johnny would catch the elder Kujo giving him weird looks. Does he know that I helped rescue Katsuki? Am I in trouble? He's acting very...aloof.
Jotaro, on the other hand, was contemplating his future actions. Look at him...he's happy. Do I really want to take that away from him? He really cares for his classmates...do I really want to cheat him out of his second chance?
No, stop. That kind of thinking is the reason you let him go to U.A in the first place. It might break his heart...but every parent has to put their foot down at some point.
Still...he would probably know that I stopped time...that I cheated. Am I betraying my son? Would he ever forgive me? Maybe I should just tell him how I feel.
I'm...not good at that.
...
"And where are you going young lady?" Kyotoku Jiro asked as his daughter as she was about to head out the door.
"Out."
"Going where?"
"To meet up with some friends."
Mika put a hand on her husband's shoulder. "Come on Kyo, she's sixteen, you don't have to interrogate her."
"I'm not interrogating! I'm taking an interest!"
"Well, maybe you should take an interest with more...subtlety."
Kyoka snorted and left her parents to bicker as she exited the house. She was going to meet up with Johnny and Gyro to help them design their hero costumes, since Johnny destroyed his old one and Gyro never had one. Personally, she thought their outfits during the Steel Ball Run were perfect, they incorporated just the right amount of flash, yet were practical enough to be used in combat.
And it wasn't because Johnny's outfit had left his incredible arms exposed...
NOT.
AT.
ALL.
...
"So, in order to get into U.A, we're going to have to fight your dad?" Gyro asked.
"That's what Aizawa said." Johnny replied, biting into a french fry. They were sitting in the middle of a diner in Mustafu, waiting for Kyoka.
"The guy that can stop time?"
"He isn't allowed to do that. Besides, I think Act 4 should be able to keep up with Star Platinum."
"You better hope so." Kyoka said as she plopped herself down next to Johnny. "If you lose that fight, I'll break your legs all over again. I want to see everyone's faces when you turn up in class."
Johnny sighed. "Well now we have to win."
"Yeah, we wouldn't want to face the wrath of Kyoka Jiro." Gyro said with a grin.
"Shut up." Kyoka pulled out a few sheets of paper. "These are just some of the ideas I came up with."
"One of these is literally just my jockey uniform."
"Well it looked really good on you."
Johnny flushed with embarrassment. "Well thanks..."
Gyro grabbed one of the sheets. "Why is my costume just a block of cheese?"
