Waking up to the light coming through, I got out of bed and dressed before heading out to the kitchen. That boy be working and needs a coffee and food.
Making up some breakfast for both of us, and a coffee for mandla, I grabbed a juice.
"Cora what.." "come on, eat up" mandla had an irresistible grin on his face "you made me breakfast and a coffee?" "yeah, you have work. You need to eat and I know you like a coffee" mandla grinned as he pulled me close "thank you" "welcome" mandla pressed his lips on mine then pulled back before walking to the table with his food and coffee.

I knew I could smell food when I came out of the bathroom. Walking out, seeing cora had made me an omelet and a coffee, I couldn't help but grin. She be looking after me too. Eating the omelet, damn it was good. This girl is too sweet but I could get used to this. I'd usually just have a coffee and leave. "I will drive you home on my way" "no, I need a run. It's not far and it's out of your way. You just worry about getting to work" "but.." "nah I ain't accepting a lift" argh, this girl of mine "fine but message me to tell me you are safe" cora had a small grin on her face "that I can do" "what time do you think you will get back today?" "I don't know. As I said it starts at one. Probably see my parents there too" I nodded "do they know about us?" "No" "you told your uncle and aunty before your parents?" "Yep" I chuckled "why is that?" "I haven't spoke with my parents" "makes sense but why not?" "I will see them today. Explain the situation with Shania and tell them about us" "alright".
Finishing my meal, I stood up and grabbed Cora's as well. "mandla" "no you cooked and made me a coffee. Let me clean" "but you have work" "I have time". She can't be doing everything. Rinsing the dishes, I put them in the dishwasher. Turning around, cora was gone. "Cora, where did you go now?" "Grabbing my phone and keys from the room. I will let you get to work" cora came over pressing her lips on mine making me grin "have a good day" "I be seeing your fine ass later" "maybe" "I will hunt you down" hearing cora laugh as she left, I grinned. Going to the room, I shook my head. Damn girl left quick because she knew I be on her butt about making the bed. Grabbing my phone and keys, I locked the house then headed to work.

Arriving at the school at twelve forty five. Seeing Corey's and my parents cars, I internally grinned.
Walking into the large hall, the place was packed. Searching for my parents, when I found them, I walked their way.
"Cora I didn't know you were coming" "I'm here to support Corey" mom grinned "he's over there" looking to where mom pointed, I grinned. Using two fingers, I whistled. Seeing many people look around, when Jake and Corey looked my way, Corey stood up and walked over to me, giving me a hug "glad to see ya could make it" "had to be here to support my formal partner" Corey laughed as he pulled back. "I have this for mandla" seeing a USB in his hands, I shook my head "damn boys and shit" Corey laughed. "I better get back to my seat" "I will be here when you are done".
"You and Corey?" "We are just friends dad" "good match" "no, I have my perfect match" mom looked at me curiously "you gave Emmanuel another chance?" "No way. I am dating mandla" mom and dad both grinned "well at least we know he looks out for you" "he sure does. He's a good egg" dad laughed "egg?" "Well he ain't rotten like some" "does Corey know this?" "Welcome students and families. thank you all for being here to support your children. It's been a long exciting journey with all of you. Today we are here to celebrate the ending of your schooling. Congratulations to all of you"
"Let's get down to the certificates. When I call your name please come up and collect your certificate".
Waiting for Corey's name, hearing a lot of people cheer, I whistled his way making him laugh "damn cora" winking his way, the assistant principal grinned.
"Congratulations Corey" watching him shake the principal and assistant principals hand he grabbed his certificate then walked down The steps. Seeing him take a seat again. Mom spoke "who knew you two would be close" I nodded "I know. Oh I have to tell you. Shania is no longer living in the house" "why not?" "She lied to her boyfriend, Momma and me" "lied?" "Yeah she told her boyfriend or ex that I kicked her out to work her way into his home. Told me and momma anele, that dalmar had asked her to move in. Seeing everyone stand, I grinned. "We best make our way out side" "are you not waiting for Amelia?" "No" I nodded.

Walking out, we waited for everyone to come out. "cora" "oh, hello sandy" "it's been a while. I did receive the photos of you and Corey though, they look spectacular" I grinned "I was happy to be his formal partner" "hey mom" "Corey. Well done, you have made us very proud" "he sure has".

"Hi Jake" "where are you two going?" "To the cafe. If you want to have that drink, you can join us?" "I'm coming" internally groaning, we continued the walk to the cafe. "How did you go Jake?" Arriving at the cafe, when we walked in, the lady at the counter spoke "what can I get you three?" "A strawberry milkshake" Corey laughed "make it two" "and a chocolate one thanks" "sure" "what are you laughing about?" "Reminded me of the strawberry shake that Ezra made you spill" I chuckled "you heard?" "Yeah I did" I grinned as I handed over my card to the lady "cora no.." "don't be listening to this boy. Just tap it please" the lady grinned and did as I asked "congratulations" Corey and Jake both laughed "geez thanks" "no worries. Ready to take a seat?" "Yep" "sure".
Waiting for Jake and Corey to sit down. I did the same, but chose to sit next to Corey.
