THIS CHAPTER SUCKS!
In another universe. . .
"Damn, I why am I even doing that?" You asked yourself, you were sitting on the edge of a skyscraper with Dahyun.
"I detected both of their feelings,"
"Which is ours."
"...but another version of us, (YN). Not ours." Dahyun sighed deeply as she watched the busy streets below. "It's really different from what we feel between each other. It's like a feeling of craving and love, compared to us... It's... Like..."
"It's like what?" You asked as you looked at her, the moonlight shone upon her face.
"No-Nothing..." She shook her head, she couldn't tell that she hated you. But she thought it would change overtime.
"Well, if these... versions of us..." You pointed at the location where the both of you went before. "...loves each other, then..."
She stared at you paused for a moment, sighing deeply.
"...every universe has infinite amount of possibilities. There might be even a universe where I'm a woman, or I have a twin. Or even an agent. I maybe have a family in another universe."
(Hmm...)
She nodded slowly in response as you gazed at the bright moon and stars.
The wind was howling, and yet it wasn't hitting your face since both of you were still in astral state.
"But I'm lucky enough to live in our universe." You smiled.
"What do you mean? We killed you two times, let the young girl die, and interrupted the celebration of the anniversary of her birth. And we even forced you to fight as your destiny says." She couldn't get it, she couldn't understand you.
"I don't care." You uttered, making her confused even more. "As long as she's there beside me, I consider myself as a lucky person."
The pale woman widened her eyes a little bit, as she parted her lips.
You weren't a normal person, she thought.
But then, you stopped smiling as you looked down.
"She's the only one who was there since I found her." You stated as you started to swing your feet. "So I swore to myself to protect her no matter what. She's the only one I have so I want to make sure that she's safe."
"...but if I have to let her go for her safety..."
"...then I will, even if it hurts. It's better than her dying in front of my arms."
You looked at your fists, as you thought, you weren't strong enough to keep her safe.
The fate is absolute, and cannot be change. All you wanted was to marry her and love her until death, but you got to fight for the future instead.
"You really love Yeji, do you?" She asked as you nodded in response.
"Please don't tell her."
"Don't worry, I won't." She said as she chuckled.
Both of you sighed as the absolute silence of awkwardness was all around the both of you for a few moments.
"Is it really that bad?" She looked at you as she felt your emotions.
You were utterly anxious, worried about the future.
"They will arrive in several Earth years, so we have to hurry. But don't worry, you and Yeji will be trained but both of you have to get ready before that." She warned as you hummed in response.
