Somewhere in the Sekhmet Supercluster. . .
"Wow! Sekhmet create multiple galaxies by herself!?" My younger sister, was watching some a documentaries about the well-known gods in the universe, in the thing I supposed you called it "Television".
Sekhmet is really amazing, she's a Goddess of war and fire, one of the strongest gods in the universe that she even created galaxies herself, and to add it to her collection, she's so strong that she even created gods herself to protect the Supercluster.
"And Jihyo! She's so cool!"
And that fucking God, the opposite of her.
"Tch. She's nothing but an evil." I said in an annoyed tone.
I cannot believe some people still like that Goddess after all the crimes she had done. The Goddess of destruction and vengeance, they call.
"Mom, Jeong's playing with ice again." My older sister said as I got annoyed. I never liked being in this family.
I was an orphan, and I didn't like it.
"Jeongyeon! Stop that thing!" My mom grabbed my hand harshly as I winced. "You almost destroyed the house last time you played with ice! You have to stop!"
My life is pretty boring.
I only pulled some pranks on people because that's my way of being happy. Never I cared for anyone's feelings but only myself.
They asked, why am I doing those things?
I'm invisible.
Being one was hard, I was never given attention. So I always do everything just to get their attention.
Even they forgot my 361st birthday. It fucking hurt.
I wanna be something extraordinary.
But I think being extraordinary didn't matter.
As long as I was accepted by my family. That's all I wanted.
Timeskip, Midnight. . .
"Got scolded again?" My friend, Abrielle asked, we we're riding down the empty road with our floating skateboard, speeding at a hundred kilometers per hour.
I sighed, feeling frustrated. "Yes, I'm sick of it. I want to have a job and get out of the house, people my age are really rich, my classmates already moved out of other planets and here I am being left out."
"Well, we're living in this reality. As our teachers said..." Again, I'm tired of hearing that phrase.
"... We're all destined and we cannot change it." Abrielle and I said it in unison.
I looked at the sky, staring at the nearby planets. I was thinking if I could get out of this messy life.
"I don't know, man... I wanna be more than this." It was all silent, not hearing anything but our hoverboards.
I asked myself, could my life get any worse? Or better?
"Guys! What's up!" My other friend, Elvira, was catching with her hoverboard. She always had a smile on her face, she's beautiful and carefree, I have a crush on her but I pretend not to show it. "I have good news!"
"You better not disappoint us!" Abrielle shouted.
"Sekhmet! She's in our planet! We have to go! And see her!"
. . .
We're in the edge of the crowd, there's millions of people. And we can't see a thing.
