“HUNGRY!”

What the fuck? Who said that?” I asked aloud. “Who’s there?”

“HUNGRY!!” The voice said again.

“Where are you? Do you want me to make you some food?” I asked again, not really expecting an answer.

I shrugged it off and went to get some coffee and have some breakfast.

“HUNGRY” The voice rang out once again.

“Okay, what the fuck. Where are you?!”

A blue form in teardrop shape showed up in front of me. It was maybe a foot tall and floating midair.

“Hello......?” I asked the blob.

“Y/N.” It said in a deep voice. Apparently, the thing speaks. “I am Mayhem.”

“Are you the one that’s been saying you’re hungry?”

“Hungry. Yes.”

“Okay..... What do you want to eat?”

“Brains.”

“Br- WHAT?!” I yelled at the blue floating thing.

“Yes, we need it now.”

“Nope, not happening, Mayhem.”

“Let me make this crystal clear for you: I get the brains or I eat yours.”

“Mine?”

“Yes. Plus, you owe me. I saved your life.”

“So, you’re the reason I’m not dead yet.”

“You’re welcome.”

I glared at Mayhem.

“Can you please leave?” I asked.

“Leave? My dear, you don’t understand. I, Mayhem am a symbiote. You are my host, and I cannot leave you. We are one now.”

“So, you’re what Stark was going on about the other day. The blue slime. How did you get in my house and to me?” I sat on the couch continuing the conversation with Mayhem.

“I caught your scent 3 days ago at the lab. I was able to escape and followed you, as you are the one I needed to host me.”

“Why me?”

“Because you are the one for me. You see, I cannot merge with just anyone, I will consume all of their energy and kill them.”

“But how am I any different?”

“Your scent is unlike any other. I had to have you.”

I sighed, taking the answer as it is.

“Okay, is there any substitute for brains?”

“Ummm..... chocolate?”

“That I can do.” I pulled out some chocolate bars and handed them to Mayhem.

I like this alien.
