The Chapter where the first SBI arrives, finally...

With Hope, I peeked into the empty straw bag, Great. It has been a week since my close encounter and I haven't dared to step a single foot out of this secluded farm since that fateful day. Sometimes I wonder if my face is plastered on wanted posters that are pinned on various locations around the kingdom; I mean I almost killed an officer - I could be seen as a dangerous criminal. But now only adding to my troubles, I have run out of bread...

I doubt I can enter the city again without causing chaos. Nevertheless, despite that risk I don't fancy dying a solitary death of starvation, do I? With no other choice, I packed up my minimum items to feasibly help me succeed in my goal of gathering myself enough food to salvage me for at least another week. Unostentatiously, I shoved my sharp pocket knife into the clandestine inner pocket of my evergreen, velvety cloak that I have previously enveloped myself in.

Once again I tracked through the eye drawing mountains. I always loved the peaceful vibe that came with walking through these sumptuous mountains routes, it just lightens the mood; maybe it's from the sheer beauty or maybe it remains me from the best days of my childhood where I would train and play in the mountains for eternal hours for days on end - only God knows. There is never a day where I don't think of Clay, whether from as simple as his peppermint aroma or mindless thoughts wanting something or someone to think about. I do wonder what happened to my beloved friend, he should be some legendary warrior or (worst case scenario) dead in a ditch - oh how that thought makes my heart skip a beat and send shivers down my spine and not the good kind.

Unexpectedly, I walked into some hard obstacle; and no it wasn't some jaw-dropping, stunning man about to solve all my troubles; it was unfortunately a hard, sandstone brick wall. My nose did seem to start drooling some blood, but oh well it won't last long. I had been so dazed and distracted by my thoughts I had turned an hour walk into what felt like a 5-minute walk, perfect. Well not really perfect my nerves had started kicking in and I did not feel like getting sentenced to prison. I crawled and climbed up the ancient wall. The odd pieces of moss are relatively annoying I must admit since they only make my chance of slipping a considerable amount higher. I used every ounce of the muscle of my body to climb up this 30 footwall - I should definitely work out more huh. One of my hands reached the top of the slippery wall and I was almost certain I was completed my task. Although I guess I spoke too soon, my second hand slipped almost costing me my progress. Thankfully, my left arm fell and (like most people) I'm right-handed which is obviously my stronger hand; therefore, I can catch myself. So after hanging in 24 feet of air (Did I forget to mention Y/n is 5'11" mainly because that's my height so I don't really understand what it's like to have a shorter perspective and honestly it makes sense with her brother's heights as they are all very tall) I used my remaining strength to grab onto the ledge with my other hand to pull myself up to a sitting position. The views from this height are astonishing. I had always viewed the kingdom as a danger (although beautiful but not the extraordinary before) because even though this kingdom was the light in my path, the shelter I need when I originally fled away from my monotonous life from in the middle of nowhere - you can never trust anyone, sometimes not even yourself. I enjoyed the intertwining alleyways and the dull chatter heard amongst the busy streets. I loved how the cool breeze brushed against my face and the sweet smells of exotic fruits and pastries being sold in various tailor shops parked on the dark coupled roads. I appreciated the angelic statues hand-carved onto the homes that accommodated loving families.

After star gazing at the eye-watering views of the city, I clambered off the tall wall on the other side and into the city. I make sure to be stealthy and agile yet careful since I do not exactly fancy falling and breaking a leg then having to be taken to hospital and then being discovered so then taken to prison which isn't in my plan for today thank you very much. After my feet securely touched the rock below if I keep my head down by also pulling the hood of my cloak up and making sure to stay invisible; no one can see me or this will sideway! I am so close to my destination but I can hear some commotion from around the corner. I am so tempted to have a peak but what's the saying again... oh yes curiosity kills the cat. However, this fascination overcame me, I ought to take a look! I swear this will be my demise, or will it?

As I poked my head around the corner I saw 3 grown, shaggy looking men. Their hair seems to be matted and drenched in grease. The men were painted in dirt and it did not seem fresh either. Then surrounded by the 3 men seemed to be a young, blondish boy wearing a red and white t-shirt and tanned cargo trousers. The boy has a roman nose with freckles lightly dotted over them and crystal clear blue eyes. His blond hair rested messily, but neatly, on top of his head. He seemed to look peaceful and approachable but his mannerisms were definitely are on the contrary. The boy was cussing and swearing at the men to leave him alone as of his "IMPORTANCE" or whatever that means, but ouch that one almost certainly burst an eardrum. Nevertheless, these grown men still seemed to be cornering the boy and terrorising him! This poor boy seemed to get more irritated by the second and this was just flat out wrong, harassing people, in general, is terribly disturbing.

Swiftly and stealthily, I hopped up onto the crumbling wall and onto a slate roof, element of surprise is key in these kinds of circumstances. I side walked gradually until I was behind the boy. My lungs took a deep breath in, right now it was calm before the storm and as much I wanted to keep that way I need to help this vulnerable and defenceless boy. I clutched the razor-sharp pocket knife in my pocket before snatching it out. It's time, I descended down landing smoothly but loudly, which will scare them a little. As I looked up my hood fell down revealing my h/c locks that neatly feel slightly in front of my face and pointed my knife at the shagged men.

"Ha! what will a little girl with a little pocket knife do to us, 3 fully grown men, you are just a little fly" chuckled the first man expressing his minimal vocabulary.

This gained the two other men's confidence to have a little giggle along with him.

"A lot more than u realise" I acknowledged in a low tone. Does anyone else find it peculiar that this usually bold and loud boy (now turned terrified) is silent behind me?

I then grabbed the second man with an especially patchy stubble on his ageing face and held a knife to his throat.

"Leave this loud freak alone or I will slit his throat with no hesitation" I coldly proclaimed.

And with that - like expected - the men scrambled away and I roughly pushed the second one away.

"Thank you..." mumbled the newly quiet boy.

I rolled my eyes and turned around back to him.

"Look if you're really thankful don't get yourself in this kind of trouble again and not let my help go to waste"

"I know, I know but really, thanks. I don't know how I can repay you in any kind of way! Maybe you can come to meet my father, He will be ever so grateful!"

"Thanks for the offer but no thanks, I better get going away" I turned back away before the boy trapped my wrists and pulled me back.

"I am Prince Tommy of the Antarctic empire and I fucking order you to come and meet my father!" He said in a jokingly manor.

oh wow...

oh, wait If I go his father might recognise me and I could get arrested.

Panic started to rest on my face and I think Prince Tommy noticed.

So like any logical person, I fled or tried to at least.

Before I could even make it two-step he caught me and held onto my shoulders tightly, well this isn't ending too well.

"where did these fighting skills go when you were being attacked by those 3 men" I questioned.

He laughed jokingly at my comment.
