Day Sixteen of Phlietober.

~'~'~

Dark pushed through the crowded hallway. Couples made out in front of lockers, boys wearing jerseys clumped in a circle blocking parts of the hallway. There was a lot of people. But there wasn't a green-haired boy standing at his locker waiting for Dark.

This was now a problem because instead of Anti there was a group of girls writing on his locker in lipstick. He cleared his throat and they all turned to him. "What are you doing?"

"Oh shit," one whispered.

Another slapped her on the back of the head. "We were just," Dark growled when he saw what they had written.

"Writing homophobic slurs on someone's locker," Dark muttered.

The girl's eyes grew wide. "Just get out of here, you're not worth my time."

The girls nodded and ran down the hallway. Dark pulled out a handkerchief and started to smudge the words. He wouldn't be able to clean it up but at least Anti wouldn't be able to see it. He stepped away, ignoring the stares and started walking down the hallway again. He stopped at a janitor's closet and opened the door, quickly stepping inside and shutting the door. "S-shit I," a voice whispered.

"It's me, Ant," Dark whispered, sitting on the ground. "What happened?"

Anti sniffled and shifted on his spot between the mop and the cleaning supplies. "It was a joke, Dark. They voted," Anti sniffed loudly. "They voted me for prom queen."

Dark blinked. "Congratulations," he whispered, scooting closer to Anti.

"But it was a joke, it wasn't supposed to work. I didn't know and now I'm the queen and they won't stop calling me things."

Dark nodded. "I'm sorry."

"Oh, it wasn't you," Anti sobbed out. "I wore a skirt once Dark, once. I thought I looked good. Then they," he broke down into sobs again.

"You did and they were wrong. You looked amazing. Now, what are you going to do?"

Anti shook his head. "I don't know. Not go."

Dark raised an eyebrow. "My Anti? My Anti, who kicked the shit out of a kid who broke his brother's heart. Who threatened JJ's teacher because he was being treated unfairly. One of the only ones who can calm Wilford down. And not to mention you have stopped all of your brothers from blowing up the school."

Anti laughed. "JJ was the only actual threat."

Dark nodded. "He's scary," Dark said as Anti nodded. "He gets it from you." Dark whispered.

Anti grinned. "Thanks, Dark."

"You're welcome."

Anti wiped some tears from his face. "Yeah, you know what I'm wearing the sparkliest dress and most obnoxious makeup I can."

Dark nodded. "That sounds like my Anti."

Anti grinned and scooted over to Dark. "Thank you," he whispered, pulling Dark in for a hug.

Dark laughed softly. "Is now a good time to ask you to prom."

Anti snorted. "No, but yeah I'll go with you."

Dark pulled Anti closer. "Great."
