On November 1st in a morning, Jack Skellington strolls around the Halloween Town plaza. The citizens waved. They say their hellos to the Pumpkin King as he passed them by. Jack reply the waves and the hiyas to everyone. Everybody was friendly, including the Addams. Yes, the Addams family. It seems that they're staying in Halloween Town for one day. Just to get to know the place more. Morticia and Sally are having tea together. Lurch plays the harpsichord near the Doctor Finkelstein's Laboratory. Just to lighten the ghoulish mood. Wednesday and Pugsley plays with crossbows. Probably they're trying to target the round fruits (apples). Gomez and Uncle Fester were talking to the Mayor of Halloween Town. Something about plans for next year's Halloween. Cousin Itt lurks somewhere. Either in the shadows. Jack Skellington's chimney from his house. Or even the dark well. Wherever he is.

Thing. The disembodied hand keep on alert for trouble. Thing ultimately got a detection. The disembodied hand stalks Jack Skellington. The Pumpkin King was in distress when he's all by himself. He acts naturally when being around with citizens and friends. Jack was heading near to The Witches' Shop. He meets with the Addams who is indeed a fortune teller.

"Oh spirits of the beyond...with the crystal ball I foresee...Show me what lies before the-" The woman who dressed as a gypsy paused. She knew by hearing its only company. "Jack Skellington. Welcome, welcome." The Pumpkin King was confident. "Madame Addams, I presume?" She shook her head. "Oh no, no." The gypsy Addams spoke again. "Just call me Madame Bovary. Telling predictions is my specialty." Jack does not mind. "Of course, of course." The Pumpkin King comes forward to her. "Madame Bovary. I am here to ask you something important." Thing hid itself in the shadows of the store. She gestures to halt. "Don't tell me." Then Madame Bovary fingers a thinking. "Hmmm." The conversation between Jack and herself are just talking about one's future in the upcoming. She starts. Looking at the crystal ball and telling him.

"You had came here to ask about your future that you do not know?"
Jack smiles. "Yes."
"Okay, okay. You...You want to know when Zero finds his girlfriend?"
The Pumpkin King doubted. Jack shook his head.
"No? You...You want to know how to visit us to the Asylum?"
He shakes his head again.
"No? You...You want to know when you and Sally are getting married?"
Jack facepalmed himself. Not sure if he's embarrassed or horrified.
"Really? Not how the way you looked at her and-"
The Pumpkin king un-facepalmed himself. Jack frowned. "Madame Bovary, please!"
"Oh! Not the right time huh? All right, all right...You...You want to know why Mayor can't handle decisions by himself?"
He crossed his arms. Jack was not thrilled. Not thrilled at all.
"Do not want to get into other people's businesses. Fine by me...You...You want to know how to grow pumpkins like Behemoth?"
He shook his head. Again.
"Perhaps some other time...You..."

Gomez and Morticia Addams came into the scene of craziness. Mr. Addams told him. "Jack, you might as well tell her what you actually want. She'll go on forever anyway." Mrs. Addams encouraged him with kindness. "You have to forgive Mama. She thinks her ability was still good." The Pumpkin King sighed annoyingly. Jack said to the fortune teller firmly. "Madame Bovary!" The gypsy Addams realized his impatience. He spoke in stern. " I want to know how to break the Gracey Manor curse." Mr. and Mrs. Addams exclaimed in shock, "What?!" Madame Bovary had an awful feeling. "Uh oh..." She looks deeper into her crystal ball. Sadly, Madame Bovary did not get it. "I don't know how to say this, Jack...This is impossible..." The Pumpkin King almost lost his skull. He was angry. "Impossible? Try again!" She was mystified. " How would I? It's going to give me the same results." Jack had it. "What same results? How about Madame Leota? She'll tell me." Madame Bovary got doubts. "If I make effort of contacting her, she'll got cut off again." The Pumpkin King was getting stressful. "What do you mean 'cut off again'? Did you contact Leota once?" Madame Bovary confirms. "I did, I did! Really! I was trying to return the favor after you saved my son, Gomez! From that cursed mansion! And Morticia too!" Mr. Addams commented in eccentric. "Ma, you sly ol' fox." Mrs. Addams told Jack softly. "Do not torture yourself, Pumpkin King. It's just your fear coming to you."

Jack shook his head. "No, Morticia." The Pumpkin King said in desolated. "You do not understand what I'm going thru, madam." Mrs. Addams mentioned. "I really do understood, Jack. I can see you clearly." The Pumpkin King listens her describing the Halloween Town leader. Morticia stated. "You were the most horrible thing that has ever happened. Celebrating Halloween to be your traditional trait. You gave the citizens the best Halloween times of your years. Yet, you began to feel exhausted for the same old tradition of Halloween. You yearned for more than just that holiday. You always feel something's missing. It's not the new frightening ideas for Halloween that's missing. It's being with someone who would share your frightful things with." Jack lastly realized. The Pumpkin King sighed remorsefully. "Madam...You're right..." Jack confessed to the threesome. Thing listened. "Forgive me, Addams...I just had an odd dream...Please...If I don't go back to Gracey Manor to break the curse...The ghost host...will haunt me who-knows-how-long..." Mr. Addams gestures. "I may figure a way to forget this predicament, Jack." The Pumpkin King was befuddled. "You Gomez? How exactly are you going to do that?"
