Jack Skellington returns to Gracey Manor

Something's up with Jack

Ruby and Dom prepares the pumpkin king a party in the guest bedroom.

Jack Skellington was all dressed in his best dapper outfit. The one he wears on the Halloween Ball back in Halloween Town.

Ruby do not like it. "Dom, I am not sure about what is going on right now."

The butler reassures the maid. "Ruby, I know it is bad as this looks now. We have no choice then again to trust the Pumpkin King on his mission."

Jack was so certain, sounding serious. "Dom, Ruby. If Mephistopheles or Mr. M or whatever he calls himself, dares for me to play his game, then I might as well give him what he wants."

The Pumpkin King was all good in dress for impress.

The maid argues. "That Mr. M is cunning. He will use the gypsy to see everyone in here. Especially outside of the Gracey Manor."

The butler did not disagreed. "I'm afraid Madame Leota will not help you for the time being. Since you are present recently for his gain."

Jack became a little angry. "So he's holding the gypsy hostage."

Ruby was dismayed. "Mr. M takes hold of the Gracey Manor. We just don't know why."

Dom quiets her. "He'll hear us if we keep talking about him."

The Pumpkin King makes a crazy choice. He's no longer feeling mad. Jack was annoyed. "You two. I'll remain here for the ghost host, Mr. M. I need you both to do what he asks you to. No cunning. Or evil spirits is going to bring me down yet."

The Pumpkin King got the maid and the butler inspired. Ruby worries. "If something occurs badly."

Dom encouraged her. "Let's have faith in Jack. For the sake of 999 ghosts."

They three agreed. The celebration in a ballroom starts soon.

Lots of ghouls in the ballroom are having a good party time.

Some ghosts dined with food. Some danced together. The man and woman each waltzing to the organ music.

The two paintings of men held a pistol. They were back to back. The two phantoms appeared. They turned and.

Bang!

Both the shooters disappeared.

One ghost hangs out in the chandelier. The couple lounges around the ceiling decor.

It was an exuberant celebration.

Mr. M. clings his champagne glass with...well champagne. The phantoms draws his attention. Mr. M. announces.

"Good evening to you all. We have an honored guest coming here tonight. Please welcome the master of terror. The demon of light. The Pumpkin King of nightmares..." The ghost host gestures a presentation. "Jack Skellington!"

The Pumpkin King arrives after Ruby and Dom. They made a quick nod. Jack nods both back. The Pumpkin King encountered the countless cheering ghouls. They applauded.

And then, they go back to their cheery times of a party. Mr. M. was the only one approaching Jack. "Were you surprised?"

The Pumpkin King replied. "Indeed I have. Usually, I'm the one with the surprises."

Mr. M acknowledged. "Of course." The ghost host added, telling him. "Sadly, the master of this mansion would not make appearance for your arrival."

Jack was a bit self-assured. "Oh what a pity. I was looking forward to meet Edward Gracey himself."

What the heck?! Did Mr. M just expose his shudder?! The ghost host kept cool.

He told the Pumpkin King in self-confident. "Perhaps you have something in mind you want to meet, hmm?"

Jack requested than make a comment. "This may be unanticipated. I need you to escort me to Madame Leota first."

The ghost host thinks for a moment. Then, Mr. M. do not mind. "All right. If you walk this way please. Walk this way."

The Pumpkin King follows the Ghost Host. Mr. M. commands the maid and the butler. "Check up the attic. Tell THEM that Jack Skellington is here."

Ruby and Dom stared at each other in foreboding. The attic?! Is he not just meeting the phantom bride?!

The Pumpkin King and the Ghost Host left the ballroom.
