The love Jack needs is right in front of Sally. It's been officially one year since the Pumpkin King tries to take over Christmas on that day.

Sally walks onto the top of an spiral hill. She just stands here. Sally views the full moonlight. The winter wonderland of a graveyard. Just like last year. She hopes someone will come. Someone who will be with always. Someone like...

The voice had her realized.

"My dearest friend..."

Sally rotated herself from behind.

It was the Pumpkin King. In his usual Halloween Town outfit. The one who emerges from a plaza fountain.

She intones. "Jack...You came..."

Jack Skellington walks up to her.

Both of them are at top of the Spiral Hill. Footprints left onto snow. It came from Halloween Town.

The Pumpkin King was glad. "You got my note."

Sally smiles. "Is there really something you mean to tell me?"

Jack meant it. "Yes..." The Pumpkin King held her hands in his.

She was moved.

Jack has his only chance what to say to her. It was heartwarming.

"Sally...It's been one year since we started to really know each other...Year after year...I celebrated Halloween for the town...Something is missing after all those years...and you were right...I was lost without you...I do not notice about what makes me smile...for what love really...simply meant to be is...Until you...You are...the sweetest living Halloween being I have ever seen...Really...You were my smile...My hope...My strength...My spirit...My heart, if I can feel it...My everything...I only wanted you to be with me...for the next Halloween to come...Xmas is coming...I have an expectation at Gracey Manor...Let me clarify...I have no concept for my next years of Halloween...Unless I do something about it...Sally...I love you for the way you are...and more..."

The Pumpkin King bends his one knee.

His right hand departed hers.

Jack retrieved the black flocked box from his jacket.

He opens it.

Sally gasped with fright. Then, she became seriously emotional.

Jack shows her his jack-o-lantern gem ring. The jewels of black and orange.

The Pumpkin King pops the question to his dearest love.

"Will you marry me?"

Sally answered with a thrill.

"Yes!"

It was definitely the sweetest and emotional moment for both of them.

Jack puts the pumpkin-shaped engagement ring in Sally's finger. The left hand side. Right next to her pinky finger. Man, on the ragdoll's index finger. It glistens from the moonlight.

The Pumpkin King stands up steady. Trying not to fall from the snow again.

They embraced each other. And kissed their lips together.

Jack Skellington and Sally are simply meant to be.
