Third person POV

Douma was knocked on deaths door at this point,poison was running all over his body,
shutting down his mind functions,his organs trying to keep working,forcing his eyes to stay open and not to give into falling asleep.

"You should just give up,you're too weak!" The butterfly demon teased,floating down to the suffering hashira.Two hands cupped his cheeks and he was staring into in eyes of the demon that would surely kill him."F-Fuck yo-you b-bitch," Douma snarled,feeling too weak to push the gleeful demon away from himself.Then the distant sound of somebody screaming his name caught both of their attention,Shinobu let go of the demon slayer and fluttered up towards the roof.The blond feel to his knees,screaming at his body to stay awake and moving so he didn't die.Then the door burst opened and he heard rapid footsteps disturbed by the sound of wood breaking.He looked up to see the uppermoon in front of him with her back to whoever was their."GET AWAY FROM MY HUSBAND YOU BITCH!" Akaza shouted the smirking demon who merely mocked him to his face,she looked at the ice hashira in curiosity."Oh you and the earth hashira are married!" She chirped as she glared daggers into the pinkette's soul,getting ready to attack the other demon slayer.Without warning the pinkette launched forward and knocked the butterfly demon out of the way,
injecting his husband with something which would probably be the anti-dote for the poison.
"W-What?" Shinobu asked as she felt her body jolt and horrid pain shooting through her body, "WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?!" She screeched at the earth hashira who was cradling the other slayer's shaking body."It's called wisteria poison,it's revenge for trying to kill my husband bitch," Akaza growled as he shot daggers into the dying demon's soul.
"If I'm dying..I'M TAKING YOU WITH ME!" Shinobu yelled as she shot a final attack at the earth hashira,it pierced his heart slightly and lungs greatly.Douma looked in horror at the very large gash in his lover's chest and side, stumbling over his words at the sight.

Douma held his dying husband to his chest,
shaking and crying at the thought of losing him."Hey Douma..I love you..and the kids..please tell them that I'm sorry..I won't be able to see them again," those where the last words Akaza said before he slipped away from the blond."I will..I promise my love," he whispered,the blood staining his uniform and ribbed haori.

That night he returned home alone,telling his children that Akaza would not be returning home ever again.

Daki wept for the entire night,Gyutaro stayed silent but cried all of same,Kaori yelled in frustration and cured every demon she could,Ahmi sat down and cried her heart out silently and the youngest wasn't old enough to know why his dad and siblings where crying or why his mom had returned home.
