Millies POV-
As I regained my balance, Mikey's light brown eyes stared into mine with a concerned look.
"Are you okay?" he chuckled. I nodded, realising he was still holding my shoulder. He obviously saw my glare and smirked, but removed his hands. Clearly he hadn't forgotten the picture he took about an hour ago. Bronty and Billie weren't struggling with conversation. They were happily laughing together with Gerard, but me and Mikey remained in an awkward silence.
"Millie?" Billie tapped my arm. I was obviously not listening. He shook his head with a smile and threw an arm around my shoulder. All of us - including Mikey and Gerard- retreated back to the car park. Gerard pulled Bronty into a tight grip and when I knew he wasn't looking, wiggled my eye brows at her. She tried to hide her giggle. And her blush.
"Hey, are you blushing?" Gerard asked trying not to laugh.
"No! Of course I'm not. It's just a bit hot out here" she replied whilst keeping her eyes glued to the ground. Gerard laughed and climbed into his car with Mikey the other side.
"See you in a few minutes!" Bronty shouted. I looked at her slightly confused by her meaning of 'a few minutes'. As if she could read my mind she said " They're coming over to mine, and so are you!" I rolled my eyes, annoyed I would have to spend more time in the presence of the idiot Mikey! I was still irritated of the phone incident. Tonight I would have to find a way to delete it!
Half an hour later
After a shower and a quick change of clothes, I crossed the street to Bronty's house. Just as I was about to knock, the door swung open and there stood Evan - Bronty's brother. I'm pretty sure my heart stopped beating but his voice forced me to say something,
"Hey Evan!" For once I didn't stumble on my words. Evan was a few years older than us, but that didn't stop my never decreasing crush on him. I guess it's kind of weird to fancy your friends brother but I couldn't help it. He made small talk and then Billie came up behind me, taking me out of my trance when he pressed his fingers to my pressure point. I screamed and lunged into Evan who moved just at the wrong time leaving me in a pile on the floor. Evan and Billie were laughing their heads off and guess who should come at that precise time. Yep, Mikey and Gerard who joined in with the howls of laughter. The noise must have caught the attention of Bronty who walked downstairs in a onesie.
"What's going on?" she asked trying to hide her smile.
"Nothing sis. Millie just can't keep her hands off me" Another roar of laughter. I pushed myself up off the floor and Billie gave me an apologetic look.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you" I smiled at his pout and forgave him. Not that there was much to forgive. Evan said he was leaving and gave me a quick wink before he ran out the door. The butterflies are going crazy right now. I couldn't help but notice Mikey's glare at Evan and wondered what had happened.
We all made our way to the living room and dived onto the sofa. The table was covered with bowls of popcorn and sweets. I was sat on one sofa between Billie and Mikey and Bronty was on the other sofa with Gerard - of course. We decided on the Maze Runner seeing as most of us hadn't watched it and as it grew later I noticed Mikey had fallen asleep. I glanced at the others, they had also fallen asleep. Unfortunately, Billie had managed to place his arm across my shoulders, making my opportunity slightly difficult. I could see Mikey's phone on the coffee table and stretched my arm across Mikey. My fingers were touching the rim of the phone and slowly I dragged it towards me. A sudden yell from a character called Newt was enough to wake everyone up in fright and I quickly removed my hand from Mikey's chest. As he woke, he saw my hand quickly come back towards me. He looked at his phone and did that really hot smirk as he put the phone in his pocket. Perfect timing Newt - not!
