My eyes slowly drooped as the film drew on. It was some crappy action movie which was boring me beyond belief. It was only 10pm and I was staying over.

"Well this film sucks!" Billie's voice brought me back.

"Yeah can we change to something else? I don't care what, but please not another James Bond film!"

"Sure thing, Ma'am." He saluted jokingly, causing me to giggle. The film started and we resumed our position. Billie with his arm around me, and me snuggled into his chest. Listening to his steady heart. The adverts rolled on and I grabbed the popcorn bowl. "You know, we haven't had a movie night, just the two of us in ages." he took a handful of sweet popcorn.

"I know, I've missed it." I said, glancing up at him and grinning at his attempts to throw the popcorn into his mouth. Once the trailers ended, I shrieked at the options screen. "The Grudge?! Are you kidding me!? Billie you know I hate horror films." My bottom lip was already trembling in fear, Billie was laughing.

"You said I could choose!" he replied defensively. I raised my eyebrow.

"This is just too far, first James Bond; now some freakishly scary demon woman. Are you trying to kill me?!"

"Aw, you can hide behind me if you want?"

"Fine." I grumbled as he pressed play, and the film began. I couldn't possibly get any closer to Billie if I tried, my legs were over his thighs and my arms were wrapped around his torso, my head still awkwardly positioned on his chest.

"You're like one of those koala bears, are you quite comfortable?" he said jokingly.

"Is that a complaint, because if it is I can just walk straight out that door. Because there is no way I am watching this film without any kind of protection between me and that woman." My breathing increased throughout my rant and after it finished I released a deep breath. Billie laughed again but didn't say another word.

......

During the movie I managed to jump a total of 67 times, scream so loudly I'm sure a window smashed, run behind the sofa and nearly knock over the coffee table, and shower Billie in popcorn and at least one can of coke.

"Okay. That is the last time I am watching a horror film with you." Billie stated as he stood from the sofa. Multiple bits of popcorn fell to the floor from his lap and as he walked past, the scent of fizzy drink stuck to him. "I'm just going to wash this -", he picked up the empty can and pointed at it, "-out of this", now pointing at his hair.

"I did tell you..." My reply was a deep laugh from Billie, who disappeared upstairs. I grabbed my phone and text a congratulations to Bronty, and realised I had loads of text messages from Mikey.

I thought you were just 'popping' over to Billies? Are you okay?? xx

From MikeySwayyyy<3

Please reply, I need to know you're safe xx

From MikeySwayyyy<3

SERIOUSLY MESSAGE ME OR I AM COMING TO FIND YOU, AND YOU DO NOT WANT A TIRED MIKEY KNOCKING AT YOUR DOOR!!!

To MikeySwayyyy<3

Mikey, I'm fine stop worrying. I didn't realise I was supposed to tell you I was staying over Billies house? Go to sleep, I don't want to deal with a tired Mikey at school tomorrow. xx

After I sent it, I ran through the other messages from him. I think it is obvious to say I have a crush on him, but he doesn't feel the same. He only sees me as a friend. I don't get why he's so protective all of a sudden though.
