Family is everything, having a son is important to the household, so there is someone to inherit the money, estate and family business. Families where grande, for the most part. The majority with at least 3 children, some with up to 7 or 8. Girls where taught how to keep a house, and how to take care of their children, they, in other words, are the house makers. Raised to love children and families, it's what is expected from them.

"San dear, how was your afternoon yesterday." The lady Lafleur said to her son when he came downstairs for breakfast.

"It was quite enjoyable, I got to spend time with some of my friends from University." He responded, sitting down next to Rae who was indulged in her book.

"Well I hope you didn't keep all the boys away from Rae with your chatter." Rae looked up, hearing her name enter the conversation.

San let out a chuckled. "Of course not, she had a splendid afternoon walk with the lord Mingi, or so he said to me he had a wonderful time with her."

Their mother squealed with joy and turned to her daughter, "I see you're getting along with him well, you two danced a lot the other day. I must say though, don't let him take up all your time. Don't put all your eggs in one basket."

"Yes mother I understand." She said, placing down her book and replacing it with a couple flowers lord Yunho brought her earlier in the day.

"Honey, there's a garden ball this evening." Her mother said to her.

"I remember, can we go out to buy some pastries and cakes first? Oh and some flowers as well, I also require more paper and a new feather pen for my writing, and some ink." Rae started to ramble on till Jongho interrupted her.

"I can take you sister."

"Good morning Jongho." Rae jumped up and gave him a hug.

He set her down and joined his father on the couch opposite of Rae, San and their mother.

"Thank you Jongho, can you also stop by the dress makers shop, she has an appointment for a fitting at 1."

"Of course."

Rae went upstairs to get changed for her outing with her brother, San decided to join them as well. They walked along the busy streets of London, carriages rolling past on the stone streets and people in fancy outfits walked along the cobblestone, peering into the shops as they pass by. They where heading to the market that was up ahead at town square. The market where venders with all sorts of flowers, spices and foods came to sell their products. It was always busy and bumping into someone was inevitable.

San and Rae where looking through flowers for the house and Jongho was choosing the vegetables needed for tonight's dinner.

"San, I'm going to get my writing materials." Rae let her brother know before walking to the vender.

She was looking through feathers when she felt someone's presence beside her.

"Good morning my lord." She said looking up at Mingi.

"My lady." He bowed and watched as she turned back to selecting a feather, choosing a beautiful brown and white plume, most likely from an owl or hawk. She picked up a glass bottle of purple ink and an empty book with Mingi still standing by her side.

"20 pounds miss." The vender said and Rae went to pull out her money, but Mingi beat her to it and gave the vender the money.

As they walked away Rae looked over at Mingi with her stuff in hand. "You didn't have to do that."

"But I did." He simply smiled.

"Let me pay you back." She shifted her materials into her one hand and tried to grab some money.

"Be careful." He grabbed the feather and ink bottle as they where about to fall over. "There is no need to pay me back."

Rae huffed and tried to grab her things back from Mingi but he lifted them out of her reach.

"Let me carry them." He said and Rae pouted, but didn't protest. "Feather, ink, paper? All these things are for writing."

"Yes... I quite enjoy writing stories, and reading them as well."

"A girl who knows how to read and write." He looked at them in awe.

"My brothers taught me. I may be a lady, but that's not all I am."

"There you are." As if he had been summoned, San came up to the two with a bouquet of flowers. "Hello Mingi, we need to find your brother, I need to get you to the dress shop in 5 minutes."

"I can take her." Mingi offered.

San thought for a moment, the market was huge and it would take a bit to try and track down Jongho so he agreed and rushed off to find Jongho.

"The dress shop isn't too far, but we should probably hurry." Mingi said ans started walking to the exit of the market, Rae following right behind, trying to hide her blushing face.

They soon reached the dress shop right on time and Rae handed her new notebook over to Mingi.

"I will be back soon, you can give my things to my brothers when they get here. And thank you, for helping me out." She said rather fast and turned to go into the dress shop.

"Wait." Mingi said reaching out to grab her wrist. "Will I see you at the garden party tonight?"

Rae looked into his hope filled eyes and her heart melted on the spot, she nodded and he let go of her wrist and said a goodbye.

The seamstress was busy pinning the beautiful green fabric into place on Rae. The shop doors bell rung signalling someone entered the shop.

"Hello miss Thull, I will be with you in a moment." The seamstress said and pushed her glasses further up her nose.

Rae looked over seeing Gray and their mom standing in the doorway, quickly moving off to the side to look at some fabrics.

"Gray!" Rae called for her best friend, Gray looked over and smiled, leaving their mothers side to talk to her. "You're here for a dress fitting?"

"No, to pick some up."

"Oh for tonight's garden party?! It's exciting don't you think? I'm sur it will be beautiful, the garden all lit up." Rae trailed off into a daydream and Gray just chuckled.

"If that's your idea of fun then sure." They said, bursting Rae's little bubble.

She turned to look at Gray and frowned. "Is your mom on your case again?"

Gray nodded and looked at the fabric around Rae that was being tapered and pinned.

"Pretty isn't it. I'm sure Mingi- I mean everyone, will love it when it's done." Rae caught herself before she could say too much. Gray noticed though and smiled at her.

"I'm sure Mingi will love you, you look beautiful." Gray admired the teal coloured silk fabric.

"And I'm sure Seonghwa and Hongjoong will love the dress you wear tonight."

Gray's cheeks turned a hint of pink and looked down thinking about the conversations they've had with the two boys.

"I see that blush." Rae teased.

Their mother interrupted their conversation and called Gray to leave. She was carrying a couple dress boxes and Gray said goodbye quickly and left with their mother.

Rae finished up the dress fitting and left the shop, spotting her older brothers talking with Wooyoung at a cafe across the street, she quickly made her way over to the boys and Wooyoung bowed upon seeing her.

"We must be going home now, goodbye Wooyoung I'll see you later." San said and stood up, followed by Jongho and the siblings made their way home.
