A woman must be educated in the ways of etiquette, she must stay loyal to her husband, be at his every need, carry his children and host his guests. She must be talented, playing piano or singing. She must keep house and raise his children. She is what ever he needs her to be. In other words, she is a pretty doll for him.

The Thull estate was filled with music so early in the afternoon, Gray playing a pretty tune on the piano, their delicate hands grazed over the keys so beautifully, and their mother, father and brother sat in silence, admiring the beautiful music while munching on cakes and pastries, drinking their morning tea. They finished the song and rose from the seat, joining their family for breakfast.

"Please dance with the lord Seonghwa and lord Hongjoong at the garden party, try and secure a marriage with either of them." Gray mother said, taking a sip of her tea.

"Yes mother." Gray bowed their head and grabbed a piece of cake, but their mother stopped them.

"You don't want to get fat, or else they wont want you." Their mom snatched the cake out of Grays hand.

Gray grumbled and went upstairs, the new dress they picked up, a moonlight blue dress with white sheer puffy sleeves down to their wrists and a ribbon on the back giving them a tail. Dressing in the all too familiar corset, dress and shoes, the maids did their makeup and dark hair up in a braided crown bun, a diamond tiara sat perfectly in their hair.

"You look stunning madame." The maid said after putting the finishing touches, sparkles in their hair that'll shimmer in the moonlight. Gray thanked the maid but could only frown at their reflection.

Yes it was true they looked jaw droppingly gorgeous, but they couldn't be happy with that. They just wanted to be themselves, not dolled up for all the men in the ballroom that awaited them.

Gray made their way once again down the banister to their brother who was eager to take them to the party.

The garden was lit worth candles and some lights, it was a picture perfect garden. Trees and flowers everywhere, a patio where people stood and danced, and a gazebo off to the side and tables switch treated and drinks where set up around the area. It was a warm evening, just perfect for the event.

Gray and their brother arrived at the party and Gray immediately wanted to go home.

"No you're not leaving yet." Yeosang said before Gray could even say anything. Gray glared at him and went off to grab something to eat; the only enjoyable thing at the party. That is till Rae showed up and skipped over to them.

"Wow you look amazing in that dress." Rae squealed and hugged Gray.

"Mhm." They nodded and looked around, Seonghwa was dancing with some girl, he looked up at Gray and raised his eyes. Gray frowned and bit into a pastry.

Rae also grabbed something to eat and looked at where Gray was starring. "Seonghwa huh?" She nudged her bestie in the side.

"Pft, in his dreams." Gray scoffed and looked away from him and his beautiful features.

Hongjoong approached the two and bowed. "Mind if I steal her?" Hongjoong said to Rae.

"Go on." Rae pushed Gray towards Hongjoong and he took their hand, leading them to the dance floor.

Gray could only look at him, his pretty face and the suit he wore making him look like a prince. He moved perfectly and they couldn't figure out what he could possibly want from them. Whereas Hongjoong smiled at their beauty, their previous conversation have played in his head over and over again, he can't comprehend how they could be so bold and different from all the other girls. They made him feel something he had never felt before and he always wanted to feel the way he felt with them. He didn't care about wether they wanted kids or not, non of that mattered all he wanted was them.
