"It was just a short, innocent kiss." Mingi barked at San.

"Yea, with my sister!" San put the emphasis on 'sister'. "I trusted you." His voice cracked a bit at the end, but he brushed it off as if nothing. He glared deadly at Mingi and reached foreword grabbing him by his collar and tugging him closer to his face. "Never even lay eyes on her again." San growled.

The two glared at each other, but where interrupted by someone bursting through the doors and throwing themselves onto San, hugging him from the back, Mingi stumbled back when San let go of his collar.

"San don't." Rae whispered softly against his back, hugging him tightly. Jongho ran into the room soon after, Gray not too far behind.

After a moment, Rae let go of San and he turned around to stare at her, "Jongho I thought I said take her home." He spoke sternly to his brother, not taking his eyes off Rae.

"I tried, but she started running away back here."

"San, Mingi had no bad intentions, please don't harm him." Rae's words intended to calm San, but they couldn't put his anger at bay.

"Why should I forgive him? He stole something from you, something intended for your husband, something not so easily forgiven." San growled, sending daggers at Mingi.

"What is the difference you make out with Wooyoung!" Her anger practically getting the best of her as she screamed at her brother.

"It's not the same!"

"Why not?!"

"Because you are a fucking lady that is why!"

His words cut into Rae like a knife to jello, Gray, Jongho and Mingi stared at San in shock seeing his enraged face glaring down at Rae who looked like she was about to burst down into tears at any second. San had never gotten so mad at her in his life, never spoke to her that way, never made her feel so useless, so stupid, so small and powerless, and it hurt her deeply. But she wiped her tears from the corners of her eyes and stood up straight, walking towards San and slapping his face, the echo bounced off the walls of the wooden of the library. A small gasp left Gray's lips seeing Rae hit her brother, Jongho's jaw left hung open and starring widely at the scene. San just stared down, the stinging pain creating a red mark on his cheeks, his jaw clenched but he knew he deserved it, all of him wanted to break down holding his sister and apologize over and over again for what he said, he regretted everything he said.

"Come Jongho, let's go home." Rae turned to Gray and her brother.

The two snapped out of their shock and Jongho nodded, the three of them left the room leaving San there frozen in his place, and Mingi debating what his next move to be, he nodded to himself and ran out of the room after the three, leaving San alone in his stance. A tear slipped from San's eye, two then three till he was a sobbing mess, collapsed on the hard floor of the library all alone. He needed to let this out, before composing himself and going home feeling every bit shameful.

"Hey Rae." Mingi spoke softly, catching the attention of the trio walking home making them turn around in there tracks to look at the tall boy huffing for breath.

"It's not your fault." She walked over to him.

"I kissed you because I wanted to show you how much I love you." His breath was shaky, most likely from nerves or from the recent event in the library. "You are not just a lady, you are so much more, you're smart and talented and charming. This isn't how I pictured it but," Mingi took both of Rae's hands and held them close to his chest, specifically over his heart area, "if your brothers permit it, will you be my wife, be my partner, be the one I love for as long as I live and even after that?"
