Y/N's POV:
"Wow Phil! This is amazing!" I say. "You built all this?"
"Well, Techno helped." Phil says. We go over to some of the structures. "We built these so that we could get used to the feel of flying and gliding. We also have a crash pad too!"
"This is awesome."
"I'm glad you like it. Are you ready to start training?"
I nod my head. Phil brings me over to a wool padded area and stands in front of me.
"Okay. We are gonna do this the way that I learned how." He starts. "First, I want you to get used to moving your wings."
"Okay." I say.
I haven't even bothered to move my wings at all the time we have been here, which has been about 3 weeks. I look over my shoulder at my wings and try to move them. I see them shift a little, not a lot though. I continue to move them.
"Am I doing it right?" I ask. "It doesn't feel like I'm moving them a lot."
"Uhh." Phil says. He thinks for a minute. "When was the last time you moved your wings on your own?"
"I uh, never moved them at all." I sigh.
"Oh, not even a little bit?"
"Not even a little bit. The only time they probably moved was when Micheal grabbed one when we first met."
"Well in that case, we are gonna need to teach you to move your wings some how. How do we do this." He thinks for another minute. Then walks behind me and places a hand on my left wing. "Okay, I'm going to pull on your wing. Your goal is to pull back on it."
"Uh, okay."
I feel my wing getting pulled on. I try to move my wing away from Phil. It works a little but not all the way.
"I don't think I can do it." I say.
"Keep trying."
I try to move my wing harder. After a minute, I finally pull my wing away from Phil's hand. Phil nods as I smile proud of myself.
"There you go." He says. "Lets do it again. But I'm going to change my grip this time."
Phil then puts his hand on bottom of my right wing. I do my best to move it and after a few minutes, I did it. We continue to do this a couple more times until Phil comes back infront of me.
"Now try to move them." He tells me.
I move my wing easily. I move it up, down, and even bend them a little bit.
"Yes! Good job!" Phil congrats me. "Are you ready to move on?"
"Yes!" I say eagerly.
"I want you to focus on flapping them, as if you were to fly. This one is gonna be diffucult."
"Okay."
I try moving mine like Phil told me. It's kinda diffult. Phil starts moving his and I watch carefully and ty to mimic his movements. I've always been a good visual learner. It works! Phil gives me a high five and we keep practicing moving our wings for the next 30 minutes. Phil instruct me to jump while moving my wings. I do as told so for a couple minutes before we go back to the house for a snack.
