Chapter 27: Prison Break

Dream's POV:

It's been a day since Y/N left, promising she would break me out. She said she would only do so if Sam didn't plan to let me out soon. But I know that Sam didn't plan to. Quackity wouldn't allow him. Quackity's been visiting very often. All he wants is the revival book, but I don't give in. That's the only thing keeping me alive. I'm just sitting on the cold obsidion floor when I see the lava fade. On the other side, I see two figures. One of Sam's, but the other makes my face go pale.

"Techno!" I yell. Techno steps on the platform, his crown shines as the lava reflects light off it.

"Holaaa!" Techno says with a wave.

"No! What- No!" I say. The platform starts moving. "It's a trap! Don't come over here!"

"Why so worried?" Techno asks.

The platform stops and he steps on. I palm my forhead in frustration. The platform moves back.

"It's a trap!" I say to Techno.

"It's not a trap." Techno said. "What would they have against me? I'll prove it." Techno turns around and faces Sam. "Hey Sam! I changed my mind! Bring me back please."

Sam shakes his head no.

"I think you should spend some time here!" Sam yells back. He flips a lever and the lava starts to fall again. "Have fun!"

Techno looks blankly back at me. I palm my face again.

"I should have seen this coming." He sighs. "Oh well. Looks like you got a new roomate! Atleast your not homeless anymore."

"I WAS NEVER HOMELESS!" I yell in annoyance. I sigh. "They know that you were gonna break me out."

"Well, now we can plan an actually escape plan."

A smirk comes on my face. I fix my mask.

"Oh, I don't think we are gonna need that." I say.

"What? I thought you wanted me to break you out. DID I JUST GET STUCK HERE FOR NO REASON!??"

"Yup."

"HEH?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN?"

"Someone has already taken your job."

"What? Who would come break you out of jail? Everyone hates you, remember?"

"Not everyone..."

Techno gives me a blankly stare. He looks at the ground and thinks for a minute.

"Y/N." I say.

"HEH!?!" He looks up at me with both a shocked and worried look. "Y/N! Since when did Y/N come here?!"

"Just yesturday. She told me she would break me out if Sam didn't plan to release me any time soon. And he doesn't. So, I am expected to be broken out soon."

Techno sighs. He still has a worried face. He reaches down for his side, but stops.

"Oh NOOO! They took my communicator!" He groans. "I have to tell Phil! Does she realize how dangerous this is!?"
