DANNY;Cool, want to hang out with me and my friends.
"Absolutely, let me just call my mom right quick so she knows where I am"

You put your hat back on. Grab your phone and call your mom.

MOM;(over the phone)Hey Sweetie, how is it going?
"Fantastic, I just met this kid named Danny. Do you mind if I go over to his house?"
MOM;Of course not, just mind your manners and be home before dark.
