I have written and published five chapters today, that's more than I've done since the summer of 2020. And if I finish this one tonight, it'll be six. It's only 9 pm now so I probably could.

Letti:

"So, um, when do you two plan on having the wedding?" I ask with fake interest. They both look at each other and turn back to us, smiling while holding hands and sipping their champagne, it was almost gone which was good for us.

"In three weeks, the fourth of March." Julian responds. I wanted to throw up but continued acing the acting game. I was surprised I'd survived this long. It's been forty-five minutes since the party had started. Damon once had to 'go talk to Elena' to get himself away from Lily and Julian and calm down. He loved mother so much, he was definitely a mommy's boy when we were younger, and now it was all replaced with rage. I don't know who it affects more, Damon or me.

"And we want you all to be there. We waited before planning because we wanted you and your brothers to accept us first, before we decided when we'd get married." Lily adds.

"Well I'm glad, we'll happily attend." Stefan smiles. Elijah hasn't left my side or said a word the entire time, I'm sure they were beginning to think he's a robot. I turn to him, whispering softly.

"Elijah you're probably drawing more suspicion standing there silently than if I was to only drink water that didn't appear as champagne. Walk and talk darling." He chuckles and excuses himself politely, going over to Rebekah, Marcel, Hayley, Jack and Klaus.
I turn back to Lily and Julian with a wide smile. She notices the ring on my left hand than was holding the bottom of my glass while my right held the middle for when I sipped. Not going to lie, I miss alcohol but I'm not going to harm my unborn child. The only reason they couldn't hear the faint heartbeat, was because it wasn't quiet enough and we kept the conversation going if it died out for my safety.

"Things are well with you and Elijah again?" Lily asks with a smile.

"Yes they are." I reply.

"That's good. You look beautiful by the way, my daughter."

"Thank you mom. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go converse with Damon and Lissa." Lily nods, and I turn away from them. I let out a deep breath of relief as I approach Damon and Lissa. Her hand takes mine for comfort.

"You're doing amazing Letti." Lissa gives me a reassuring smile.

"Thank you so much Liss." I sigh. I feel like I've been holding in a breath the entire night, not once daring to breathe. My stomach was tied in knots and I was beginning to feel nauseous from all my nerves. Still unbeknownst to us, we don't know why I didn't get sick and have migraines like Caroline did in her early stages of pregnancy. Nothing about my pregnancy has been normal besides the kicking, and the only magical effects have been the healing.

"How are you feeling?" Damon asks.

"I'll be alright, I just desperately needed to get away before I broke my glass and sliced my hand open." Damon and Lissa chuckle at my response.

"Don't worry, it won't be long before the spell starts taking affect. I've observed, their glasses are empty meaning the spell has completely been released into their system." Freya says. Vincent stayed outside of the ballroom unseen to keep the barrier spell working while Freya and Davina worked in here. Occasionally Freya will slip away and check on things with Vincent even though none of the heretics could leave the room.

"Good, I don't know how much longer we can survive in here." I reply. The tense atmosphere surrounded us and we hid our intentions well, none of them suspect we're planning anything. I was so proud of us.
