Chapter 9

I don't know why in the hell I thought today was Wednesday and not Tuesday. Being out of school really confuses me at times.
Anyways, how are you doing my loves?

Letti:

"So you're stalking me now?" I ask with an attitude towards the blonde man. His blue eyes hold amusement beside my mother's uneased expression.

"Leticia, I merely am just looking out for you. Those Originals can be quite dangerous. Better it be you get chased by a werewolf rather than be with one of them, let alone four."

"Don't pretend for one damn second you have any interest in my well being." I reply harshly. "Where I am or who I'm with is none of your business."
Julians eyes go distant, my mother's following. Confused, I turn slightly. Kai approaches the three of us and with Valerie, Jack, Klaus, Elijah, and Hayley.

"Found Val. And caught these four lurking." Kai smirks. Valerie shift's uncomfortably from beside him, and moves a few inches closer to Jack. When Kai notices her unease, he shows a slight expression of confusion, however, it quickly goes away.
What I'm more focused on, is why Kai was sent to 'find' Valerie.

Klaus:

"Where's she going?" Jackson asks. Letti just randomly took off without warning or any clue to where she was going. All of us stood straight and went perfectly still and silent, you couldn't even have guessed anyone else was here if it not for our scent, that only works if you're a vampire or wolf though.
And now we state the obvious.

"We're not alone." Hayley says.

"Indeed you're not." There's a deep male voice, right after a grunt is heard. Jack and I turn to face what Elijah and Hayley are facing. Valeries being held tightly in this mans grasp. He has dark hair, and blue eyes.
"Kai Parker, your famous sociopath."

So this is the bastard who's trying to kill Caroline and innocent twins.

"Tell me if Jo's kids are alive, or I'll kill her." He refers to Valerie. He takes out a dagger, holding it against her neck.

"Don't listen to him!" She yells in response then looks at Kai. "Lily will abandon you if you kill me."

"That's it, all of you, come with me or I'll just kill dear Leticia instead." The look on his face shows he's not kidding, we all immediately fall in line with him as he leads us in the direction Letti went.
That brings us here, with Letti, standing in front of her mother and a random guy I'd assume to be Julian.

"Found Val. And caught these four lurking." Valeries discomfort is quite obvious, her moving closer to Jackson and away from Kai.

Letti:

"What the hell is going on here?" I turn back to my mother and Julian.

"If you haven't forgotten, Valerie is one of my children, I can surely request her brother for her presence." My mother replies.

"Your 'children'?" It hurt to hear from her that she doesn't consider me, Damon, and Stefan her actual kids anymore.
I turn back to Kai, Valerie and the others. Kai had grasped Valeries wrist tightly. Jack hisses from next to her, his hybrid-ish eyes appearing. Kai holds up a silver dagger and points it right at Valeries neck.

"Tsk. Tsk."

"Let her go Kai." I demand. His focus shifts to me, and his eyes momentarily goes wide. Valerie rips her wrist from his tight hold, pausing when staring right at me.

"Lily I think Beau, Mary-Louise and Nora asked for you guys to head back." Kai then breaks out of his trance and acknowledges my mother and Julians presence.
Is he trying to get them to leave?
