**Tubbo's POV**

We started our journey, Ranboo is walking by my side and we have two guards and they are both behind us, they are far enough that they can't hear any conversation.

I don't wanna do this. I don't want to face him. I can't do this! Ranboo seems to notice my state because he asks, "what is wrong with you? You're acting weird." Blunt as always.

"N-nothing. I'm just... Making sure we have the right directions. That's all."

"Prince Tubbo," he says 'Prince' with annoyance in his tone, "I'm not stupid. You haven't looked at the map once and you've been directing us. You know where you're going. In fact, I think you know this place very well and that's why you're afraid to go back."

"I'm not afraid..."

"You are afraid to face the man who controls those fields."

"Stop."

"You've probably known him your whole life, ever since you were a kid. Is he family? Is-"

"ENOUGH!" I yell quite loudly. Ranboo doesn't respond. He just continues walking forward, looking somewhat upset at my reaction. "He's not my family. He will never be my family again." Ranboo nods at my response as it seemed to answer his questions.

I sigh, I feel like I owe him some kind of an explanation. "This is a bad person. 6 years ago, Puffy tried to take me there so that we could potentially make amends and be a family, but he was cold and he took out his anger on Puffy. He ended up hitting her in the face and she was furious, not for her, but for me. She wanted so badly for us to know each other but he made sure that wasn't possible. She wanted to see if he would take me in because I was getting to that age where I'd need to start working, and she wanted me to be able to be a kid, but he got his dogs to chase us off of the property. That was the last time I saw him. I've been back to his house a few times but I never dared knock on the door, I knew the outcome. That's why I know how to get there so well."

"6 years ago? You would have been 11 or around 11. How long have you lived in the castle?" He asks, his voice almost sounding concerned.

"My whole life. Puffy is kind of like my mom. She found me when I was a baby and she took me in. Her and all of the servants took care of me. At around age 14 Tommy came to the castle to work. He was living on the streets and Prince Wilbur actually offered him a job so that he wouldn't have to be on the streets anymore. Him and I have been best friends ever since." I look down at the thought of losing Tommy. After all we've been through, I can't lose him now.

"I can't believe you've been working since you were 12. The most I've worked is working your job for three quarters of a day." He smiles sympathetically, " and it makes sense that you care about Tommy so much. Especially since he was the only one around your age. He's probably like you're brother."

"You're right he is. And I can't lose him. I won't lose him." We walk up to a fairly large house. The guards are now standing near us. "If you guys could just go stand over there momentarily. I need to talk to him. Please do not interfere unless things get physical." The guards nod and they go to where I pointed. "You too Ranboo. I need to do this alone."

"Okay Your Highness." He smiles as he says the last two words, "if you need us, we'll just be over there." He goes and stands where the guards are. I take a deep breath and knock on the obnoxiously large door three times.

A tall man opens it and smirks when he sees me. "Huh. Tubbo. Didn't think I'd see you again. Not after our last meeting."

"We need to talk father."
