Chapter 13 - All hail the queen

Weiwei rushed to Zhi Yi's office as soon as she was done. She knew they would be celebrating and she wanted to be part of it. She was so proud of Nai and his brothers. The whole office was in a celebratory mood. The staff was mostly laughing, dancing and a party was in full swing.As Weiwei walked into Zhi Yi's office, the whole office became silent. Her eyes sought Nai and said, " Surprise!" Nai winked at her, shocking everyone in the office and said, " Welcome to our humble abode oh mighty Director Weiwei". Nai's brothers burst out laughing while the rest of the office looked confused. Nai ushered Weiwei inside , gestured to his brothers to follow him into the conference room, while the staff resumed partying. Weiwei walked inside the conference room looked startled to see KO ," Kang-ge. It's been a long time! So surprised to see you here!"

KO : " I could say the same DragonReed shi mei" and smiled at her. Nai and his brothers stared around in confusion. KO explained, " Guys, we are amidst hacking royalty here. DragonReed here has won all the top 10 CTF contests , including Insomni'hack at least once. I only accidentally saw her once at a cafe. She's really a legend and queen in the community."

Nai smiled, " You are like an iceberg Weiwei. It seems you are full of surprises." Weiwei blushed, "It's nothing. I'm so happy for all of you. You really impressed everyone today"

Hao Mei, " Sansao, you are a top hacker and on the board of a company and our junior? How's that? Why are you even in college? It's not like it can teach you anything"

Weiwei, " Umm ..I just did what I had to to survive. And its always good to have a formal degree. Today's not about me. It's about you all"

Banshan, " It's also about you sansao. Aren't you our new boss?",winking at Nai.

Houzi caught on," Yes , director. Actually scratch that, everyone repeat after me, All hail Queen Weiwei! Empress of crypto, ruler of Nai's heart, our beloved sansao and boss-woman!". They all mimicked bowing down to her. Weiwei laughed, " You guys are too much! I'll leave you to your celebration. We can work out the details of our arrangement tomorrow. It's been a long day. I'll head home"

Nai said, " Wait. I'll drive you. It just started raining, it'll be difficult to get a taxi. Plus you seem to be lugging your bags everywhere" and walked with her. He started driving in the general direction of his home. Weiwei asked, " How do you know where I live? Did Auntie Lin give you my address?"

Nai, " No . I am just driving in the general direction of my house. I live in High Park apartments on Ocean road".

Weiwei, " Um..Nai. It seems I have one more surprise to give you. I also live in the same apartment complex. Apartment 22B. I bought the place a couple years ago. Actually your mom recommended the complex to me"

Nai, " I live exactly below you in 21B. That must be what ma was teasing us about, who knew she was such a mastermind. Oh my god, she suggested I buy that apartment as well! How have I not seen you?"

Weiwei laughed at Auntie Lin's match making attempts, " I live in the dorms during the semester. I work from home mostly during summers and travel quite a bit for work. I don't walk around the complex much. I don't think you know any of our other neighbors either. Do your brothers know where you live?"

Nai, " Yeah. They know I live in the complex but they have never been home. Have your sisters visited?"

Weiwei shook her head no as they pulled up. Nai helped her bring her bags upstairs and Weiwei shyly said, " Would you like to come inside?"

Nai gulped and nodded. As soon as they entered the apartment, the tension between them was palpable. Nai closed door with his foot, leaned Weiwei against the frame and kissed her. She kissed him back with equal fervor. Normally she'd be the one to pull back, but she showed no signs of stopping.She lead him to the couch, sat him down and straddled him kissing him deeply. A few open buttons and minutes later, Nai struggled to gain his senses and pulled back groaning, "Weiwei, I won't be able to stop if you keep going. God, you looked so sexy today walking into the room in your pants and heels. I have been wanting to kiss you so badly"

Weiwei kissed him again, " I really missed you. I almost kissed you when you got the term sheet today" and put her lips on his again. He pushed her back gently after a bit and said, " Weiwei, I love you. We, umm need to slow down I think love. I don't want you to do anything you regret." Breathing heavily, Weiwei nodded, got off his lap and sat next to him. As they cuddled on the couch she said, " It scares me sometimes how I have no boundaries with you. Its like I'm some wanton woman." Nai laughed, " Oh! You are quite the vixen. Who knew? It's always the quiet ones". She punched his arm and he continued , " It's so backwards that I'm the responsible person. I love it when you have your way with me" kissing her on  the cheek. He cuddled her to him and said, " You be yourself love. I'm happy you can be comfortable with me. I will be your sanctuary. I am so proud of who you are. I feel like I don't deserve you. How can you be so accomplished and yet keep it on the down low?"

Weiwei snuggled on his chest , playing with the buttons on his shirt said, " I have always been very good with computers. So, when I was orphaned, I relied on it for an income. I took lots of contract jobs and through one of them I met President Feng. He and his wife really respected me for my skills instead of questioning my age. Last year, when they had a serious incident with data breach at their company, I was called to resolve it. One thing led to another, and I earned a seat on the board of their VC firm. I didn't mean to hide it, I just don't want people to harass me more at college. As far as you are concerned, I can't explain it. I feel safe with you, safe like I haven't felt in years. I have never done what we just did with anyone , I mean that thought hadn't even occurred to me. But with you, it's like my body is on auto-pilot. It scares me that I love you so much yet at the same time, I never want to let you go"

Nai said, " You are so competent and humble. I will spend my life becoming worthy of you furen. This is my first time with a girl as well you know. This is beyond what I dreamed of", wanting to lighten the mood, " Do you know how much of a turn on, you being my boss is?", he winked at her. Blushing, Weiwei said, " Gross moral turpitude. Maybe we should keep things platonic". Nai kissed her again and said, " No going back love. I am prepared to lose anything but you. Alright, enough serious talk for a day, are you just gonna have your way with me or are you going to show me around your apartment? "

Weiwei blushed. She straightened her clothes, got up and showed him around the apartment. It was a beautiful two bed two bath apartment. Nai loved her simple yet elegant decor that matched with his own preferences.

Nai: " You have a beautiful apartment and you have decorated it so beautifully. Mine is very similar, except it has one bathroom. I however, have a larger balcony that opens from the living room. "

Weiwei, " I know. I have always admired your terrace garden. With the stones , the water trough and the plants its very Zen like. So spacious. I used to come to my balcony to look down at the Zen garden downstairs when I wanted to feel peace. So, unknowingly, Mr. Nai, you have calmed my mind over the years", she smiled. Nai's heart swelled with her praise. They spent the rest of the evening talking, stealing many kisses and cuddles, eating dinner and just enjoying each other's company. Today had changed their relationship and they both knew it. Not wishing to part, they said halfhearted goodbyes to each other and went to bed in their respective apartments.
