Chapter 18 : Busted!

After their first time, neither Nai nor Weiwei could stay away from each other. Weiwei spent less and less time at the dorm as the semester progressed. Nai would often be unavailable over the weekends. They always seemed to have the perfect reason and explanation. Auntie Lin saw how relaxed they were and noticed how comfortable they were with each other especially when she teased them. Unlike before, they simply smiled at each other. She realized she didn't want to know; her husband was clueless as ever or Nai would have had to endure the lecture of his life.

Lately, Sisi and Xiaoling had started hanging out with the Nai' brothers. Xioling's boyfriend Da Zhong worked for their company. Sisi had come along with Xiaoling a few times and Banshan had taken a shine to her. They were in the phase where they were more than just friends but neither party was ready to make a move. On the last day of the semester, after their exams had ended, the girls and the boys were all hanging out at a eatery near campus.  They were eating, drinking and laughing all night. It was almost 5:30 am.

Hao Mei, " We are all here! Where is sansao?"

Er Xi, " I have no idea. She still had one more exam left when we were all done this morning. She's done with all her courses this semester. She told us she would go and crash after that"

Sisi, " Xiaoling and I made came here from the dorm. She wasn't there, she must have gone home. Actually, now that I think about it, she is rarely at the dorms these days. "

Houzi, " Coming to think of it, where is Nai? We just delivered a big milestone and are all set for the game launch. Our beta is already getting so popular that we may be featured at a gaming convention in Vegas. Everything is finally going well. He gave everyone tomorrow off as well. "

Banshan, " Maybe they are with their parents." They had all eventually learned about Weiwei's home situation and how Nai's parents were also her adopted parents.

KO remarked, " It's unlikely. Unless I am mistaken,  pretty sure Lao san told me his parents were at some conference in America"

Still somewhat drunk, Banshan said, " That's it then! They are together. I think they have been for sometime, just been hiding from us. All we need to do, it go to Nai's apartment and we'll catch the love birds?" laughing loudly.

Houzi agreed with him, " Come let's go. We have never been to his house. No time like the present"

Xiaoling, " What if we really embarrass them? Also what if they are not there? Maybe this is not the best idea".

Hao Mei laughed, " I have a feeling they will be. Also, its not like we're doing anything wrong. We're just going to our friend's house. If sansao is with Nai, that's a plus". Reluctantly the girls agreed and they all started going towards the apartment complex. Between being half drunk and delirious from staying up all night, instead of going to Nai's apartment 21B, they went and banged the door of 22B, Weiwei's apartment.

It was still 6 am on a Friday morning that both Nai and Weiwei had off. They were soundly asleep in Weiwei's bed when their friends were banging on the door. The band of friends were causing quite the ruckus. Weiwei in her semi-aware state, shook Nai awake, " Honey, there's some loud noise, wake up". Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, Nai woke up to the sound of loud banging on the door. He looked at an exhausted Weiwei who was already slipping back into her sleep. Groaning, he sat up and walked to the living room to yell at whoever was disturbing them. By now the friends had covered the peephole with their palm and were giggling amongst themselves. An irate sleepy Nai , still in his pajamas, swung the door open, " What do you want", he barked at the door without even looking at who was at the door step.

Hao Mei exclaimed exuberantly," Nai, is that anyway to greet your guests. Since you never invited us into your home, we decided to invite ourselves" and barged inside. The rest of them followed. Seeing them had jerked Nai awake. He wondered how long it would take them to realize that it wasn't his apartment they were at. Sure, Weiwei's apartment wasn't overly girly but it was distinctly feminine. He shut the door and stood there while everyone else was looking around.
