As class went by, Deena couldn't get her mind off of what Sam wanted to talk about. What if it was a mistake and Sam actually didn't like her? What if her mom found out..and convinced Sam that it was just a phase? Ugh. All of these thoughts kept running through her mind as she kept her eyes on the clock.
Finally, the bell rang and their teacher dismissed them. Deena quickly rushed out of the room and to her locker, waiting for Sam. She looked over and saw Sam walking toward her, giving her a smile. Deena bit her lip as Sam got to her, "hey" the blonde smiled. "Hi" Deena gave her a small smile in return, "you wanted to talk?" She asked.
Sam nodded, gently grabbing the brunettes wrist and pulled her to the janitors closet, closing and locking it. Deena gave her a confused look as Sam took a deep breath before opening her mouth, "my mom thinks that it would be a good idea if I stopped hanging out with you.." Sam looked down, playing with her fingers. "Wait, what?!" Deena asked. "A..are you going to listen to her?" She asked.
Sam shook her head, "of course not!" She sighed, "I'll just..give her excuses whenever we hang out" she said. "Do you even know why she doesn't want us to hang out?" Deena asked. "She's a homophobe..and she knows about your dad" Sam sighed. "Okay, so she doesn't like the fact that I'm into girls, my dads a drunk, and that my family isn't perfect? Got it" Deena looked down towards her feet.

Sam frowned, hearing what came out of Deena's mouth. She slowly walked towards her, resting one of her hands on the brunettes waist, and made Deena look up at her. "You don't have to be perfect, perfect..you're perfect the way you are, Deena..I don't care what my mom says, I am not going to stop seeing you" Sam gently spoke, pressing her forehead against Deena's. Deena let out a soft sigh, nodding a bit. Sam didn't like the fact that people treat Deena like shit just because who she is. Especially her mom.
Deena gently and quickly pressed their lips together before pulling away. "We should get to class"

Later that day, after school, Deena and her friends went to her house. Sam told her mom that she was going out with the cheerleaders and she actually believed it. Kate and Simon were in the kitchen, they were hungry and they didn't trust Deena to cook.
Deena was sitting on the couch with Sams head laying in her lap. The tv was on and they were watching some cartoons. Well, Deena kept glancing down at Sam as she played with the blondes hair. She smiled as Sam focused on the tv, gently biting her lip like she was really concentrating on the cartoon.
Sam felt Deena's eyes on her and looked up at her, giving her a concern look. "What?" Sam smiled. "You're just..really beautiful" Deena stated, biting her lip. It was a fact, Sam was beautiful. The blonde felt her face turning red as she got all flustered. They two just kept looking into each other's eyes, until Sam finally leant up and pressed their lips together.

Sam cupped Deena's face between her hands as Deena's arm draped over Sams waist. But, like usual, they were interrupted by someone coughing. They pulled away and looked behind them, seeing Kate and Simon with smirks on their faces. "Guys, go do that in the room, we want to watch a movie without any of that" Kate rolled her eyes as she and Simon held plates of their food and walked to the girls.
Sam sat up that way there was enough room for all four of them to be able to sit.

Deena put the movie on as everyone started diving into their food.

About an hour later, Sam laid her head on Deena's shoulder, yawning a bit. Her eyes started getting heavy as they slowly closed, falling asleep. Deena smiled as she looked at the blonde, wrapping an arm around her as she peacefully slept.
