Chapter 30

Another day passed without Sam and Deena talking, it's kind of a mess if you ask me. Deena hasn't even looked at Sam once, it's making Sam go crazy. Sams never felt the way she felt towards Deena about anyone, and now that Amy's here, Deena won't even acknowledge her.

Speaking of Amy, she and Deena were in the hanging out by Deena's locker, as usual. Sam walked into the bathroom and Amy saw, smirking as she told Deena, "I'll be right back" and then followed the blonde into the bathroom.

Sam was looking at herself through the mirror, her eyes were all red and puffy and she looked dead. All week, she hasn't had the courage to get dress or take care of herself. She's been in her room, ignoring her friends whenever they asked if she wanted to hang out, even her mom was worried about her, and she's never worried.

Amy walked to Sam and Sam saw her through the mirror. Sam rolled her eyes, looking at Amy. "What do you want?" She asked, her voice was..quiet. Amy shrugged, "noticed you haven't been around lately" she said, holding back a smile. Sam stayed quiet for a moment before speaking up, "Look, whatever's going on between you and Deena..you can have her" Sam said, looking down.

"What?" Amy asked. "She clearly wants you more than me..and..as long as she's happy..I'm happy" Sam mumbled, not looking up, tears threatening to come out of her eyes. "I uh..I've gotta go.." Sam said before rushing out of the bathroom. Amy smirked before walking out of the bathroom as well and then back to Deena.

Sam went to her locker to see her friends there and sighed, wiping the tears that were running down her cheeks. "Was that Amy?" Kate asked and Sam slowly nodded. "Ugh, what did she want?" Simon asked. "She was wondering why Deena and I haven't been hanging out..and then I told her that she can have Deena..I'll be fine..as long as I know she's happy.." Sam said, her voice breaking.

"That's it" Kate said, walking off. "Where are you going?" Sam asked. Kate turned to look at them, "I'm tired of this, I'm ending this thing once and for all" she said as she went to Deena's locker, the others following her. "Kate, no" Sam said, grabbing Kate's wrist to turn her around, "it's fine, really. She made her choice and she'll soon realize that she made a mistake and return to us" Simon said.

"Just leave her be..if she really..wants to be with Amy..I-I'm fine with that, just don't do anything that'll make her hate me even more" Sam said and Kate sighed, slowly nodding.

Kate had a plan, Sam just didn't know about it.

After school, Sam was going to skip another cheer practice, but Kate wasn't having it. "Sam, you either stay, or you're off the team" Kate said. "What? But my mom would kill me if I got kicked off" Sam said. "You need to stop skipping practice" Kate said. Sam groaned and finally agreed to stay.

After practice, Kate and her friends went to her house, even Sam. But, what Sam didn't know was..there's going to be two more people there.
