Yes, it's Halloween. Kate usually throws a Halloween party every year. But, Sam was still upset about the whole Ashley thing..so, she wasn't sure if she was going to go. And that means if Sam doesn't go, Deena's not going to go. It's been a few days and Sam has tried to avoid Kate and Ashley as much as she can. "Maybe..you can try to talk to her?" Simon suggested.
"We've tried that you dumbass" Kate rolled her eyes. "I can talk to you for her" Simon tried. "I don't get it, why isn't she mad at you? You kept this from them as well" Kate sighed. "Yeah, but I'm not the one who went behind her back" Simon said.
"Sam?" Sam was in Deena's room as Deena was in the living room. Sam walked out and to her, "yes?" The blonde gave her a small smile. "So, um..Kates having this..Halloween party tonight. You don't have to go if you don't want to, I just thought that I'd let you know" Deena rambled. Sam walked towards her, "I'll..think about it" she said, making Deena smile. They both leant in, gently pressing their lips together.
There was a knock at the door which caused them to pull away. Deena went to open the door and saw Simon. "Hey, Si" she said as he walked in. "Ladies, are we going to the party?" He asked. "Sam said that she'll think about it" Deena said and Sam nodded. "In that case.." Simon opened the door again, revealing Kate and Ashley behind the door.
"Nope" Sam said before walking to Deena's room. Deena sighed, "I'll go talk to her.." she said before following Sam to the room and shut the door. "Sam.." Deena sighed. Sam was standing up, looking out of the window. She stayed quiet as Deena got closer to her before speaking, "I cant" Sam said. "Why are you getting so upset about this?" Deena asked softly as she gently wrapped her arms around Sam's waist from behind, laying her head on Sams shoulder.
Sam sighed, "its just..my whole life, I never had friends who I could actually trust. I've had friends, but they weren't that great..and then I met you..and Kate..and Simon..and I thought that I was able to trust them..and that they were able to trust me.." Sam looked down as Deena turned her around that way she can see her face. "Sam..of course they trust you, I know I do. But, Ashley's your ex..they thought that you were going to get mad at Kate for liking Ashley" Deena gave her a sad smile, making Sam look at her.
Sam sighed, "but I wouldn't have..I am way over Ashley..they know that" she said. Deena gently cupped Sams face, "they do know that..but, they thought that they were doing the right thing by not telling you..people make mistakes, Sam" Deena gently spoke, her voice was genuine. Sam finally gave in, smiling a bit. "You're right.." she said, making Deena smile.
Sam gently pressed their lips together before pulling away, "let's go to the party" she said. "Really?" Deena asked and Sam nodded, smiling. The two locked hands before walking out of the room. Kate and Ashley looked up, "we're going tonight" Deena said. Kate quickly stood up, "really?" She asked and the two nodded.
Kate slowly walked towards them and looked at Sam, "I'm sorry" she said. Sam nodded, giving her a soft smile. "I know" she said before pulling the shorter girl in for a hug.

Later that day, everyone was getting ready for the party. They were all going to meet up at Deena's house. Well, Sam was already at Deena's place. No surprise there. Josh was out with his friends..doing whatever.Thirty minutes later, Simon finally showed up. Kate and Ashley were at Kates house, setting the party up. Well, they should be, unless they got distracted. "Alright, let's do this" Simon smiled. The three walked out to Deena's car, Sam and Deena sat in the front while Simon got into the back. Deena started driving to Kates house.
Once they got there, they all got out and walked to the door. There were already a bunch of cars. Simon just walked right in and smiled, seeing a bunch of people. Deena looked around, remembering what happened last time they went to a party. "Stay with me" Deena had to yell over the loud music as she looked at Sam.
Sam nodded, "I am not going to let what happened last happen happen this time" she yelled. Simon came back to them with drinks in his hand. "Here, Sam. And for Deena, here's a soda" he said, giving them the drinks. Deena looked at the soda before pouring it in the plant next to them, not trusting what Kate might've put in it.
Sam looked at the drink that Simon gave her and shrugged before taking a drink. Deena sighed as she went to go sit down, pulling Sam with her. Sam kept drinking, as Simon kept bringing them drinks. Sam was drunk not even thirty minutes into the party. I mean, it only just takes two for her to get drunk, drunk.
Kevin came to the party, looking around. He was sober though. He walked over to Deena and Sam, smirking. "Sam," he said then looked at Deena, "d*ke" he mumbled before looking back to Sam, "how about you ditch these losers and come back to my place with me?"
"Hey, get away from her" Deena said, quickly standing up. "What are you gonna do about it?" Kevin smirked, grabbing Sams arm. "Come on" he said. "Get off of me" Sam said, trying to push him off of her. "Not until you give me what I want" Kevin said. "She said get off" Deena said, pushing him. "Or what?" He asked. Deena couldn't take it any longer. She pushed him to the ground, "stay the fuck away from her" she said.
"Oh my god, it is true" Kevin scoffed, "you did fuck Fraser" he said. "Yeah, you're right. I totally fucked her" Deena shook her head, "I didn't fuck her" she said. "Hey, is she good in bed?" Kevin asked Sam, smirking. "If you wanna know, ask your mom" Deena said before grabbing Sams hand and walked away from him.

You and Me Always||Book #1
FanfictionThis is basically how I think that Sam and Deena from Fear Street met. Like, before everything happened. I might add some of the horror stuff into this book, but I am not for sure.
