The vortex that Mr. Lordi had created to allow him and his friends to escape certain death from the devastating power of the prism, which had acted as a kind of defense following the attack by military planes, was finally opened and allowed the group to get to a place more distant and out of reach of the prism, at least they hoped.

Emily and the monsters set foot on a floor that the young woman immediately recognized, as did the rest of the house they had teleported to. It was her home. Her two cats reacted to the presence of all these monsters suddenly arrived in the living room and ran to hide upstairs.

A heavy and dreary atmosphere reigned in the group, but also, a real shock in front of the deluge of power which had been manifested before their eyes. Magnum straightened up, looking around him, seeing this house for the first time. Kita, supported by Amen, had to lean against one of the walls and catch his breath a little. Ox continued to support Awa who seemed to be in very bad shape and still suffering from the psychic attacks produced by the prism, despite the distance.

Mr. Lordi clenched his fists and teeth, utterly frustrated that he had to flee this way, but on the other hand, knew he had done the right thing in saving the lives of others. It would have been crazy and selfish to want to stay and fight before such a power without being prepared to do so and above all, without having the slightest knowledge of this enemy.

Emily, still reeling from everything that had just happened, had sat down on the living room couch, rubbing her face between her hands. Mr. Lordi came to see her, kneeling beside her and took her hands to comfort her. Their eyes met.

_ "It's not possible ..." Emily sighed "... Did you see what that thing did? It made them all mad with just one look. But what the hell is this horror?"

Mr. Lordi felt her incomprehension and fear in her voice. Emily was strong and courageous, it was no longer a doubt, but in the face of the unknown it was normal to express fear. He hugged her softly, placing a kiss on her forehead.

_ "When I was a very young lord, long before I went in search of my future allies and you, I had heard, on rare occasions, rumors and whispers from worlds and dimensions so distant that even today, their existence is only a hypothesis. It is tell about dimensions so ancient that they existed even before the appearance of time itself. Places that even the strongest demons are afraid to explore, where the concept of life and death, time and logic do not exist ... These worlds from before the time would be inhabited by impossible entities, which would be the living embodiments of the primordial forces that rule the cosmos, time and reality. But nothing has ever been proven."

Emily listened to her beloved one speak of these legends, and felt an unpleasant shiver run up her spine. No matter how hard she tried to imagine, she couldn't, her brain refusing to recognize the possibility of such a thing whose existence would call into question the meaning of reality itself. She also felt that Mr. Lordi, who had nevertheless lived a very long time and was the most powerful being in his world, also showed doubt in considering the existence of such omniscient beings from the abyss of the universe.

But suddenly, a noise coming from the kitchen alerted the whole group, who reacted. Mr. Lordi took his ax and began to walk cautiously towards the source of the noise, accompanied by Emily who held her sword. The others stayed behind in the living room, but stood ready to intervene. They were hoping it was not others cultists, or worse.

_ "Show yourself! I know you're here!" Mr. Lordi growled like an order.

From behind the kitchen counter then came out, very slowly and raising their hands in the air, two people, a man and a woman, both trembling and frightened, that Emily recognized immediately and opened her eyes wide.
