While all hope seemed lost, victory had come. Ycnarr'Orveh was now trapped in his dimension, his great pyramid having been destroyed. With the Darkland now cut off from all ties to other worlds, the giant prisms, one after the other, had lost their powers and had all crashed to the ground. All the abominations without exception then fell inert, no longer being animated by the prisms. Madness and chaos gradually faded on the planet, as did climatic disturbances, winter resuming its normal course and the oceans thawing.

However, thousands of people had been killed and this only exploded even more the distrust, contempt and hatred of many humans towards the monsters, whom they again held responsible. Several governments around the world even seemed to agree to deal with the monsters once and for all. But a military and private organization, the SRDO, intervened then with the governments of the earth, proclaiming loud and clear their role to play towards the paranormal threats, but also that the monsters of Lapland had nothing to do with this attack. Captain Ian Redfield, one of their best agents, testified before everyone that he had fought alongside the monsters in a desperate battle to save this world and that he was ready, without hesitation, to team up with them again if it was necessary.

The SRDO then emerged from the shadows, officially declaring itself as an army not belonging to any nation, but fighting for the land and its peoples against threats from elsewhere, but also being ready to collaborate with the monsters sharing the same goal as them.

The SRDO had also taken matters into their own hands. The corpses of the abominations were all recovered and cremated. The survivors of the Children of the Trinity were arrested, and those who managed to escape are now considered criminals and ruthlessly hunted down by the organization. As for the giant prisms, being made of a material impossible to destroy, were recovered to be stored and hidden in an undisclosed place. The Darkland Scroll, meanwhile, was guarded by the monsters of Lapland, who sealed it and hid it too in a secret location known only to the Monsterman, so that no one could ever use it again.

During the following month, the losses were mourned, and with great difficulty, the world began to rebuild itself. With their own world also saved, the Lapland monsters were able to return to live in the Oakville area without fear of reprisals from the military or governments. Even though a lot of tension still reigned, the fragile peace was maintained. But many people remained with the after-effects of dementia from the madness and chaos caused by Ycnarr'Orveh, which made many people in the world see the monsters as the culprits.

Emily had returned home to Oakville to her parents who had managed to survive. Mathias had returned to France, to his home, in order to collect his parents' affairs and files concerning sects and myths. The young man finally deciding to embrace his heritage and continue what his parents had started. Hella had come to help him, the two having become inseparable now. Ian Redfield was able to return home to his wife Jill and their two year old daughter Rose. Ox and Awa, this new war having brought them closer together, finally formalized the beginning of their romantic relationship, to the great approval of all their allies.

And one day, after the second month which had followed the defeat of Ycnarr'Orveh, during a romantic tête-à-tête aboard the lake near the mansion, Mr. Lordi after having thought for a long time to weigh all that this involved, had surely made one of the most important decisions of his long life.

During the walk, as the sun slowly set behind the trees, the couple had stopped on a small wooden pontoon to watch the twilight. Then, Emily had seen the Monsterman kneel in front of her, which left her speechless but her heart pounding with boundless emotion as she saw Mr. Lordi holding a small box in his hands.

_ "Emily ..." spoke Mr. Lordi quite nervous but smiling "... For several years we have been together and our love has never dried up, on the contrary. All these years spent with you were the most beautiful of my very long life, but now I want, with all my heart, to spend the rest of my life by your side, not just as lovers ... Emily ... will you marry me?"
