A/N: Just wanted to take a second to say thanks for all the wonderful feedback. It looks like you're divided nearly 50/50 on which side of Quinntana you're on. If it's any relief, just picture if canon Quinntana got together, I'm sure the early stages of that relationship would be a menace. Anyway, you guys have such good theories and comments, I enjoy reading them all. Without further ado, enjoy the next one ;)

Abrams/Lopez Flat

Santana stormed into the flat and she immediately went to the punching bag to let her emotions out, not even bothering to put on a pair of boxing gloves.

Artie leaned back on the settee, carefully watching her. He finally spoke up when she didn't show signs of stopping anytime soon. "Stop it. Can we sit down and talk?"

"There's nothing else to talk about," Santana scoffed, swinging harder punches to the bag. "If you want to teach me a lesson, go ahead."

"How does that help?" he retorted. "Just who do you love? Quinn or Brittany?"

"You already know the answer."

Artie got up to step in between Santana and the training equipment, nailing her with a serious look. "Get this clear - this is not 20 years ago where you can have dozens of wives," he said, exasperated. "Even if you could, Quinn and Brittany can never coexist. If you only love one of them then stay focused on that one. You have nothing to do with the other's tears or sadness! You have to be forbearing to one and cold-hearted to the other to get out of this mess!"

Santana exhaled pensively. "You're right. I'm not as forbearing as I should be to Quinn. But I simply can't bring myself to be cold-hearted to Brittany."

He sighed. "If I were you, I would go to Grand McKinley right now."

She shook her head. "No, I refuse to go there." She pushed him out of the way and continued throwing punches at the bag.

Fabray Cottage

Quinn stared out the window as rain pounded down against the surfaces outside.

The rain came so suddenly. Is the universe shedding tears for me?

Judy sidled up to her quietly, she'd noticed her daughter's gloominess over the past few days. "What happened between you and Santana?" she asked gently. "Has she been posted somewhere or did you two have a disagreement?"

Quinn's frown morphed into a weak scowl. "Ma, stop talking about her. We broke up."

"Why?"

"She's a two-timer and I can't take it."

Judy's brows furrowed. "Santana is a two-timer? That's not possible. You must have got her wrong, she's devoted to you. I'm your mother, I can see better than anybody else. Did you ask for a break-up or did she?"

"I did," Quinn said coldly. "Mama, I've seen your example, I can't let myself repeat that kind of tragedy. My girlfriend can only belong to me. I can't share her with anybody else."

Judy thought for a moment. "Honey, people like Santana are rare in today's world. You're too strong-headed and you don't like losing. Sometimes you need to be a little gentle and forbearing when dealing with relationships. There's no second Santana in this world."
