"Henderson, what a surprise." Gambi said when the Police inspector entered his shop.

"We need to talk. Downstairs." Henderson said and Gambi nodded as he opened the secret door to the Sanctum.

"What's going on?" Gambi asked.

"Word is that you're getting back into the government agency game." Henderson said.

"I'm surprised you're not telling me it's a bad idea." Gambi said.

"And normally I would, but I remember Lyla from Jeff's wedding, since she was Lynn's brother's date to it. She doesn't seem like the kind of person Odell was." Henderson said.

"She's definitely different. For starters, she shows emotions and has a moral compass. But I get the feeling that isn't why you're here." Gambi said.

"You're right. I'm trying to do a quiet investigation into how deeply Tobias has his hands in the Freeland PD, but since I'm just an inspector, I don't have the clearance to launch an investigation without permission from my superiors. I came here since you're not bound by those rules, especially since I hear you're going to be running the Argus base here in Freeland." Henderson said.

"I'll see what I can do. Especially since I now have Argus clearance." Gambi said.

"And I'm guessing you'll be hacking into the Argus mainframe to get access to all their files?" Henderson said.

"I tried, but Lyla was smart enough to have someone encrypt the files above my clearance level with something too advanced for me to crack." Gambi said.

"That's impressive. After all, I thought that sort of thing was your specialty." Henderson said.

"There's always someone better. Besides, I trust Lyla and I know that there are things I can't know, since unlike the ASA, Argus has global operations running." Gambi said.

"Still, do you think you can use the clearance level you do have to help me look into this?" Henderson asked.

"Should be easy." Gambi assured him.

"Thanks." Henderson said.

"Hello?" Anissa asked as she answered her phone after finishing her shift at her mom's clinic.

"Anissa, hey, it's Mary Hamilton." Mary said.

"Mary, wow, I haven't heard from you since I graduated from Gotham University." Anissa said, since in this universe, she'd gone to Gotham University for her medical degree and while she'd been there, she'd met Mary Hamilton.

"Yeah, I know it's been awhile." Mary said.

"I heard your sister came back, how's she holding up?" Anissa asked.

"She's good. But that's not why I'm calling." Mary said.

"What's up?" Anissa asked.

"You remember Ryan?" Mary asked.

"You mean the girl who made you realize that we play for the same team and the only reason you didn't flunk out after Kate disappeared, yeah I remember her, what's up?" Anissa asked as she then realized the tone of Mary's voice.

"What happened?" Anissa asked.

"Ryan lost her arm doing her new job as Kate's head of security. She's set to start her physical therapy soon and I was hoping you might be able to recommend someone." Mary said.

"I can, but now I'm also going to head over to Gotham, since Ryan and I are friends too and now I feel bad that I haven't visited her. Please tell me she's not still living in a van." Anissa said.

"No, we actually moved in together." Mary said.

"Wow, you think that would warrant a phone call." Anissa said and she could hear Mary chuckle.

"If you were trying to cheer me up, you succeeded and I'm sure that Ryan would love a visit, as long as you don't baby her. The only person she lets do that is me." Mary said.

"Trust me, I'm familiar with her and I'm glad that you two are still together and you're actually living together." Anissa said.

"Okay, let me know when you get to Gotham." Mary said.

"I will." Anissa promised.
