Chapter 5: At the Restaurant

Amanda's POV

After walking away from Parker I was so annoyed at myself that I actually gave him my number, but then again I could simply block him.... well I could just block him... I'm so fucking dumb sometimes. How the hell does someone forget that they can simply block someone's phone number(insert eye roll).

But maybe having a friend in all this hell wouldn't be so bad. I'll just have to wait and find out what happens next....

"Amanda,order up!" Zander yelled from the kitchen at the restaurant. I've been working at this restaurant for the past 2 months and I like what I do,even though a lot of perverts walk in through these doors but I can handle myself.

"Give me a minute!"I yelled back at Zander. Prying my way through the crowded restaurant I made way to the counter where Zander was waiting for me with an amused like on his face.

"What?"I questioned.

"Nothing really it's just that look on your face when your annoyed,"he chuckled.

"Whatever, which table does this order belong to?"

"Table 5 and be careful with that pervert,"he said in a serious tone.

"Zander,you and I both know that I'm always careful,so don't worry too much ok,"I said walking away.

Upon arriving at table 5 the fucking pervert wouldn't stop trying to slap me on my ass or he would be looking at my breast. Getting annoyed at him I placed his food on the table and tried walking away when I held on to my hand spinning me around, I started talking to myself before I did something stupid. Amanda you're at work, take a deep breath in and exhale out. Try to talk to the customer professionally ok...ok.

"Sir please release my hand so that I can continue my work,"I spoke cautiously.

"Baby don't be like that, I know you want to taste my di-" he was cut off mid sentence when my fist connected with his jaw, which was covered by tiny stubbles.

"How dare you,who the fuck do you think you are,huh? I'd rather die than do something as disgusting and dispicable like that. If you expected a fucking damsel in distress you're dead wrong....you got that?!"I was so pissed off that I didn't see that the restaurant had quite down and I was yelling at the top of my lungs.

"Mandy what happened?" Zander asked while rushing to me. "This asshole was sexually harassing me,"I replied to Zander seeing anger flash in his eyes. The next thing I hear is a startling crack. Turning towards the source of the sound, I see blood pooling out of the perverts nose with Zander standing over him ready to attack again.

"What the fuck Zander! Now we're both getting fired!"

"Chill out Mandy, they'll have to catch us before they can fire us,"he smirked showing off his dimples. Just like clockwork the door to the manager's office open revealing a pissed off Japanese manager, Ms Kisaki.

Not waiting for Zander I bolted through the front door with Zander on my heel, laughing like he saw the pearly gates.

"Zander! If you don't shut up and run, you're gonna wish you stayed at the restaurant with Ms Kisaki.....you got that?"

He gulped and instantly shut his mouth. He might seem like the bad boy type and all, but if you don't know him you wouldn't know that he's not and he's also gay and my best friend. Obviously he doesn't know that and I don't plan on telling him anytime soon, because Zander isn't the quietest person around....if you know what I mean.

"Ye..yes m... ma'am,"he stuttered out.

We continued running for 10 minutes before we decided it was safe. Then the weirdest thing popped into my head, and I turned to ask Zander about it.

"Hey Zan? Can I ask you something?"

"Yeah sure anything for you Mandy. So what is it?"he queried.

"How am I suppose to say this?"I mumbled.

"Ok....so while I was at school today, someone asked me for my phone number...."

"So did you give it to him?"

"Yeah but... wait...how did you know it was a guy and not some girl?"I asked while raising a brow.

"Because..if it was a girl we wouldn't be having this conversation. 'Caz if it was a girl,you would have told her to fuck herself,"he smirked.

"......"that was my reaction was.
