We both knew we had someone to talk about.
"So... what did Kris do to you? I saw you nearly crying earlier." Susie asked, seriously.
"Well... they didn't do anything to me, necessarily. It's everyone else I'm worried about." I replied, darkly.
"What are you-?" Susie tried to speak, but I interrupted her.
"You know how battles work with Kris. They tell you what to do and then you'd better do it. I was too weak to stand up to them and now... they're all gone, Susie." I started to cry. "I killed every single one of them!"
"Noelle... I-"
"No! It's all my fault! It's all because of me that they're-!" I stopped. I didn't want to say it. I didn't want to admit that I was the reason. I whispered the last word. "Dead." Then I buried my head into Susie's neck and cried. She hugged me tightly.
"Shh.. Shh.. It'll be ok. It's not your fault." Susie whispered to me over and over as she stroked my hair. I cried less and less until finally I had stopped.
"I don't want to hurt you more but... that wasn't all of it." Susie whispered as she continued to hug me tightly.
"They made me kill Berdly." I mumbled.
"That's right. They made you do it. None of this is your fault." Susie told me firmly. She pat my back.
