Ralsei POV
It's a tradition in the dark world that everyone comes to weddings with a date and whoever catches the bouquet is destined to get married next, so they kiss their date to seal the deal. I was very nervous but I was still going to try and catch the bouquet, of course! So after the vows, Susie and Noelle threw the bouquet. The bouquet flew straighter up than expected, so the only people who had a chance of catching it were people in the front. I was in the front. The bouquet fell into my arms. I'm about to have my first kiss in front of everyone! I blushed and grabbed Lancer, who was confused because he wasn't paying attention.
"Huh? What are we...?" He trailed off as everyone began to look at us. He spotted the flowers.
"Oh. Alright then." We stood awkwardly for a second, neither of us wanting to make a move. I took a deep breath and kissed him for the first time. It was perfect. We both blushed and everyone clapped. We started to dance like everyone else. Susie and Noelle danced over to us.
"So...? How was it?" Susie asked and wiggled her eyebrows, teasingly. Noelle laughed. Lancer and I blushed.
"Oh, it was horrible!" I said sarcastically.
"I thought it was nice." Lancer said, ignoring me.
"Wait. What? Y-you did?" I stuttered.
Lancer rolled his eyes. "Ralsei we've been secretly dating for 5 years."
I blushed. "Your point? That was my first kiss!"
"It was my first kiss, too!" Lancer replied and blushed.
"Your cute when you get flustered." I told Lancer.
"I-I am?" Lancer blushed harder.
"Um... Of course!" I blushed too.
Noelle leaned towards us. "Can you two kiss already? I didn't turn around quick enough to see it the first time!" She giggled and then continued to dance with Susie. I looked at Lancer.
"I don't care as long as you're ok with it." Lancer told me nervously. I didn't really know what I was supposed to say to that, so I yelled at Noelle.
"Noelle! You better come watch because we're not doing it again!" Noelle and Susie twirled over to us. I hesitated, then Lancer pulled me closer and kissed me. Longer and more confidently than before. Noelle and Susie danced away. Then the kiss was over. We're still so close to each other! We both blushed and avoided eye contact. I stepped back awkwardly.
"My heart is beating so fast." I laughed nervously.
"Same." Lancer took a deep breath.
"So... um. You caught the flowers..."
"I did." I tried to nod calmly.
Lancer continued "But there's something I need to tell you... My mom has been trying to arrange a marriage between me and the diamond princess. I think her name is... Kite? I'm not sure, but we need to stop it! Maybe if I tell my mom about us then she'll understand!"
I nod "...but what if she doesn't?"
Lancer smiles. "I'll run away. And then we can get married!"
