(3) Rejecting Your Confession

Scenario: (Sorry y'all (>~<)) You confess to them but they either don't feel the same way or are not ready for a relationship yet.

Choi Soobin

- He would be very careful about it.

- Speaks very slowly as if anything he says will actually make you burst into tears (which is rather possible, though, considering the circumstances).

- Tries to comfort you when you cry, then ends up saying something that'll get your hopes up.

- "Choi Soobin... I like you."

"H-huh? M-me?"

"Mm."

"Oh, well, I'm... sorry, but... I... really don't feel the same way about yo- Oh my gosh, please don't cry! I could go out for ice cream with you, if you want, but please don't cry!"

"R-really...?"

"Mm-hmm." *internally regrets entire existence*

Choi Yeonjun

- He saw it coming, and had planned how he would react to your confession earlier on.

- He would try to be careful with his approach, trying not to hurt you more than the least.

- Still gets his point through in the end.

- "Yeonjun, I like you. Will you go out with me?"

"Ah... Sorry, Y/N... but I can't... I'm not ready to get into a relationship yet."

"O-oh... So that's... a 'no'?"

*nods*

Choi Beomgyu

- Internally panics. Doesn't know what to do when you confess to him.

- Starts overthinking until his mind becomes full with "What do I do?"s and "How do I escape this?".

- Probably ends up running away without giving you a proper answer.

- "Beomgyu, I like you."

"... W-what?"

"Oh my gosh, I almost forgot! I still have part-time work to do after class! I'll just see you tomorrow, okay, Y/N?!"

*runs away without another word*

Kang Taehyun

- Expression goes deadpan.

- Though it's actually just his brain shutting down for a moment because of not knowing what to do.

- Tries to look for the best way to politely reject your confession without hurting you that much.

- "Oh, well, uhm... *looks away* Sorry, but dating isn't really one of my priorities right now. I just wanna focus on my studies for now."

"Oh, okay... I-I understand."

Huening Kai

- Oh... boy.

- Laughs nervously while avoiding your gaze.

- He doesn't really know what to do because he wasn't expecting this, and that just suddenly makes the situation heavy and awkward.

- "O-oh... Y-you like... me?"

*You nod*

"Oh, well... sorry... B-but I don't feel the same way towards you..."

...
