Thousand questions resurfaced on everyone's mind and the most who was contemplating was Jungkook. Was he seeing things or did he actually saw Taehyung there for a mere second. He remembered that he once saw a mark on his back but it disappeared really quickly so he couldn't figure out what it was and neither he paid much attention to actually see what it was.

But right now when they all were standing on the open field and seeing a wolf that happened to look like Taehyung to him, his feet froze on the ground. Even when his Hyungs were shouting and telling him to run, his body couldn't move an inch. Their warnings were going to deaf ears because Jungkook was no longer present there. He was already being suffocated by his past and his inner demons.

*8 Years ago*

"He is nothing but a failure. Keep him away from Soohyun. I don't want him to waste his time on someone worthless like him". 10 years old Jungkook overheard his father talking to their family butler.

"But Sir he is just a child. He will learn and master this taming. Even Master Soohyun believe in Young master", the butler reasoned.

"He is just trying to encourage him and nothing else. Soohyun was 6 when he first awake his this side and 7 when he tamed a wolf cub. Jungkook is already 10 and all that boy care about is growing flower or to bloom them. He would never be the successor of Jeon Family", that man scowled.

The Younger boy's lower lip trembled as he tried to stop his tears. No matter what the boy do, he could never satisfy his father. He could never get that warm pat on his back or that hand ruffling his hair because it was for his Hyung only. Jungkook was sobbing watching the little flower buds . His eyes blurry because of the tears that were gathered on his eyes.

Soohyun came from behind bringing his brother's favourite banana milk. "Why are you crying Ggukie?", his brother asked as he handed him the banana milk. Taking the little bottle he thanked his older brother and took a sip as he continued, "Dad said I'm a failure—

"—No you are not. You are the smart and most kind person I ever known. He is just you know.... strict", his brother finished off the sentence after contemplating a little.

"But he is right. I can't tame beasts like you. I can't even learn those spells", he pouted. Soohyun ruffled his hair, "You are doing Ggukie so please don't let father's word get you. Okay?"

"Okay", he whispered back. "Good", his brother smiled. After few minutes of comfortable silence and Jungkook finishing his banana milk, he questioned his brother, "Hyung why taming is a big thing? Non of my friends know anything about it and my teacher always says that I'm doing great as a young wizard but Father says otherwise", his expression turn sad as he completed his sentence.

"Well father says that we are the descendants of gods and thousand years ago, our ancestors were worship as gods. Stupid right?", his brother made a face making Jungkook to giggle. "So he said that it was a job pass from generation to generation because there will come a time when our power will come handy. He wants us to master it so that we can pass it on to our generation".

"But dad sounds like a villain don't you think?", Jungkook asked making his older brother laugh loudly. "I have to agree here", he gave him eye smile. Then his face turned all sad, "I want you to be free Ggukie because I couldn't get rid of this cage and I know that you are going to surpass me so please don't give up and grasp the freedom for me too".
