Chapter # 7

Jungkook found himself in Taehyung's arms as he carried him bridal style to their share room. He slowly dropped Jungkook on his bed, making sure that Younger don't feel any hard impact as he knew he was sore. The moment he laid him on the bed, he turned on his heels, collected the sacks and went out of the room.

Jungkook stared at the door in silence. Thousands of thoughts and emotions rose to his chest. He felt hurt, vulnerable even because no matter what they did wasn't something normal friends or even enemies would do. They were together with such an intimacy that made even Jungkook's heart to flutter. Of course he wasn't expecting from Taehyung to be all lovey dovey with him when they come here. But he also wasn't expecting him to just ignore him and walk away from the room.

Well now he knows that it was all just a challenge after all and that's what he wanted too so that's that. He snapped out of his thoughts when he saw footsteps coming to his direction. He raised his head, only to meet Older's eyes that were looking at him with worried expression.

"Here take this medicine, it will ease the pain", he handed him medicine and a glass of water. Jungkook was surprised, he wasn't expecting Taehyung to be— this concern. Actually he already imagined Taehyung ignoring him and giving him cold shoulder but here is Taehyung standing in front of him, with a glass of water and some medicine on his hands. So that's where he went to, Jungkook thought.

When Jungkook didn't uttered a word, Taehyung apologized, feeling guilty. "Sorry if I was..... Rough", the last word came out almost like a whisper. And that was the queue when Jungkook came back to present, "Oh no. I'm... I'm fine.. yeah". He took the glass and medicine, "Thank you", he gave a small smile. Taehyung mirrored his expressions then he went to the bathroom.

Few minutes later, he came out, "I prepared a warm bath for you. Also I put a bath bomb beside the tub when you lay on the tub add that, it will ease your sore muscles and also help you to relax your body". Jungkook felt his heart skipping a beat yet again. He blinked his eyes rapidly yet slowly. He really wanted someone to pinch him. Is he dreaming or what?? Was Taehyung really like that from the beginning? Or this happened after their ahmm steamy time. Whatsoever it was, Jungkook still thanked him.

The moment he stood up, he hissed at the stinginess he felt on his lower region. Taehyung immediately came to his side, "You alright?", His asked worried. "Y-yeah just wasn't expecting that", he muttered giving him a small smile. He squeaked immediately when his feet lifted from the floor. In the next moment, he was in Taehyung's arms again. "I'm really sorry", Taehyung looked guilty.

"No it wasn't your fault. It's just I shouldn't have stood up this fast", Jungkook tried to make Taehyung feel better which is totally a 180 degree turn. Why you know?? Because if he look at this situation from his past self perspective which he still was till few hours ago then he would be cursing at Taehyung right now. And he would be blaming him for everything that has happened. But look at him now, he is taking an equal responsibility. Strange..

Taehyung help Jungkook to strip and laid him in the tub, adding the bath bomb. His body immediately relaxed and he sighed in bliss when he felt his muscles loosening up. Taehyung left him there and went out to get a drink for himself. When he came out of the kitchen with a bottle of juice around his lips, he saw Namjoon, Yoongi and Hoseok sitting out on the couch.

He casually went to them and sat on the couch besides them. He took few sips of his juice, eyes still lingering over them. After few minutes of silence he spoke, "So...". All the three looked at him. Yoongi even raised his brow at him. "What was your challenge?", He asked testing the waters. He just wanted to know whether him and Jungkook are the only one who has done that. Or all of them have to do that too.
