Mount Ormond was absolutely freezing . Especially now that you barely have any clothes covering your mostly exposed skin. It's been awhile since you've been to the resort, and you certainly hadn't missed it. The bitter wind chilled you to the bone, and you struggled to work on generators with your fingers being so cold and stiff. Even when sheltering behind wooden walls or behind the gens, the cold bordered on unbearable. And it didn't help that the Legion was the killer of choice for this area.
Those assholes were fast, and it didn't help that they had a thing for making people bleed. It was a delicate and difficult balance between one or two survivors distracting the killer while the other two tended to their wounds while also working on firing up the generators. It was always rough, to say the least. And the Legion were not nice when they mori-ed, as well. You can't stand those assholes. You had hoped that it would be damn near anyone but those punk asses, but it seems whatever you wanted, the Entity provided the exact opposite.
Claudette was struggling to stop her bleeding shoulder as you continued to work on a nearby gen. It was a gnarly gash that was almost five inches long, and was probably bone deep. She couldn't stop whimpering and crying. She insisted that she didn't need help, but it was becoming hard to watch at this point.
"Here, lemme-" You take over patching her up. It'll be quicker if you do it, anyways. She nods silently in thanks, using her hand to silence her gasps and groans of pain. You tried your best, but you just didn't have enough for a decent patch up.
"There... S-Sorry... It's the best I can do. I'll try to get their attention if they run over here, so you just hide when that happens, ok?" It scared the shit out of you, but Claudette was hurt bad and you couldn't stomach leaving her to die.
"Y-Yeah... Thank you, Y/N..." She used the gen as support as she lowered herself in front of it. You give her a thumbs up as you continue your work on it as well. You had no clue how the others were doing. You hoped they were alright...
The generator was almost halfway done, when you just barely hear what sounds to be someone quickly vaulting over something. Oh shit... You stopped working and quickly pointed in the direction of the noise. Claudette stops as well, already beginning to quietly shrink away to hide. You stand, preparing yourself for a painful run...
You certainly didn't have to wait long. Claudette barely took three steps from the gen before a masked clad girl with pink hair came barreling around the corner, knife already raised and bloodied. Adrenaline coursed through your veins. Shit, this is it. This is gonna be bad..! You ready yourself for the initial hit, plotting your escape route. Okay... Okay..! I can do this! I can..!
The masked killer, instead of beelining to you, the most attractive target, went directly for Claudette. Your heart skipped a beat. What?! NO! No no no NO GOD DAMN IT!! You tried to force your way between the two women, but you couldn't. The killer merely shoved you out of the way and mercilessly stabbed Claudette over and over and over and over again.
You sat on the ground in shock, unable to move or really process the series of events that just took place. She's... in front of me she's being... Blood stains the white-grey ground crimson. Claudette's struggle eventually slows to a stop. The masked teen is straddling her lap, fog escaping through the cracks of her mask as she struggles to catch her breath. Dark blotches stain her bright hair. You should be running. You know this, but... You're paralyzed in fear.
She wipes her blade on the sleeve of her hoodie, standing upright suddenly. You snap back to reality. Shit..! Oh fucking hell..! You have to move, now! Scrambling to your feet, you sprint in the opposite direction. You had a game plan, but it flew out the window when she mori-ed Claudette in front of you. You just ran. You thought you heard a female voice say something, but you don't care. Just run! Fucking run and get away and hide..!
